Food was really good. Service wasn't the greatest as we apparently stopped in during a busy time.
Waitress brought our bill. I saw on the receipt that it was a little cheaper if you're paying with cash. Using this logic, my friend and I each put in $40 to cover my $20 + and her $30 +. We would figure out our change situation later. The waitress came by with boxes, and took the book. We waited for our change. And waited. And waited. Waitress finally stopped back at our table to ask if we were all set or if we needed anything else. I'll admit I was a little rude and asked about our change. Waitress unapologetically admitted that she thought the extra was her tip. Never once did she ask if we needed change.
If an establishment offers a discount for paying cash, change should always be offered to the customer.

Skoob's Village Grille is an unethical place of business. Do not ever throw a party there without expecting them to charge you more than the agreed upon terms and nickle and dime for every little thing on top of that (including takeout containers that we were offered by a server for the leftover food). They charged us more than the number of people that were eating and we RSVP’d for (as we paid per head) and they told us they counted the number of plates used as the number of people. Many people use multiple plates to separate the type of food they get at a buffet; that is not an adequate counting method. I was told the woman I booked with would meet me at the party and we would discuss the guests. That never happened.
They also clearly avoid taxes because they pushed us to pay cash and the server explicitly said to avoid the taxes. When I said I would be paying with card, she revised the HAND WRITTEN bill and then charged me an additional 3% to pay with card, which was never a part of the original agreement. I understand paying a credit card fee, but not after the total had been confirmed before the party. The owner was so upset the Bills lost that he lost his patience and started to take it out on patrons that will now never be back.

Was there couple of months ago for a funeral breakfast
I have food allergies ,& the owner was very reassuring & completely understanding of my challenges.I would feel confident going back & having a meal.The food was great & service was terrific

Ive passed this place so many times and after my sister told me about how good the food was how huge the portions are, I decided to try it out. Got the boom boom chicken sandwich. It was really good. My mom got The royal sub, it will feed you for 3 meals. Will definitely be back

It was great I had the very best Reuben sandwich that I haven't had in a very long time In this area. Son had a burger that was a very generous size Service was great, she was very attentive during the busy lunch service, but didn't forget about us! Patio plants were still beautiful in October . Extensive menu to please every craving I will be back very soon.
