We recently visited the Clarksburg Taproom to celebrate a couple of birthdays. Everything was great. Our table was ready when we arrived. We all had various kinds of cider and they were all delicious. We had an assortment of their pizzas and loved them all. We had the cauliflower crust on all of them, as we have some people with gluten sensitivity. Our server was very attentive and pleasant.

The food here is so delicious! The menu is not super extensive, but they excel at everything that they offer. Most people should be able to find something to meet their needs with no problem, including gluten free and vegetarian options. Cider is excellent as well. I like to get a flight so that I can try a few different flavors! It's a fun place to be, with great grounds if you like sitting outside in the summer...

The cider choices were excellent and all had great taste. The food was quite disappointing in taste, although good quantity so it didn't leave us hungry. Sandwich was tasty but nothing remarkable. Fries were not crispy and nothing special either, and it was a surprise to find that they were an “up charge” as that hadn't been explained when the waiter offered them as a choice. Pizza was so thin that it collapsed, and the outer crust was burnt on 1/3 of the slices. The toppings were sparse, but I might not have noticed if the crust was had held up. We will return for the cider but probably not for dinner.

We ate outside to avoid the loud noise level inside - loved the fire pit! Food was excellent (but miss the pickle pizza), tasty, served hot and well cooked. Service was so-so - took a while to get drinks.

The menu was MUCH smaller than on the website. I ordered shrimp on my salad and the shrimp smelled spoiled. I didn't eat it. The server was great and apologized and took it off the bill, so that was nice, just disappointing. The server made great drink suggestions based on our preferences and the space is nice. Just disappointed in the actual food. The poutine appetizer was all I ended up eating- and it was pretty good.

The cider and food were very good. The Mac and cheese was a great small dish, and I am normally now a poutine fan but the pastrami ends and cider gravy were delicious. The only issue I had is that I am sensitive to cinnamon and the pickled onions were made with cinnamon. We ordered two dishes that had pickled onion (nachos and brussel sprouts) not expecting them to include cinnamon.

We were disappointed because we looked at the menu online and it was not accurate. There were not any “plates “ offered at this time and that is what we wanted to order. Our server told us the menu is limited because of less staff. I understand that, just wish it was updated online so we would have known.

It was not notified/addressed on the website that the day of my scheduled reservation the kitchen would close at 3p and reopen at 4p. It was surprising to hear that from the host upon arrival at the Tap Room as we waited for our guests. We watched other patrons come in and were verbally told this information at the door by the hostess and were disappointed, and remained outside. As were seated and placed our orders the kitchen clearly rushed and so was the cooking of our food. Our party ordered a few items including two trio burgers medium well and one came out more medium rare. My guest did not want to send the food back to the kitchen fearful that the kitchen staff that was now on break would possibly alter the plate in an undesirable way. I believe our experience COULD have been a 4-5 star rating had the staff been more focused on taking care of the customer who were already present then took there break accordingly. Additionally, if the Tap Room communicated what days and times their kitchen is closed on the website, customers can better plan and organize arrangements/events for themselves...in turn, food will not be rushed out the kitchen under done.

First time. Menu on line much different then in house , which was disappointing. Had fruit fly in my cider which was odd was replaced. Tri blend burger DRY .. great environment tho , aesthetically appealing.??

Pretty location, lots of outdoor seating areas on the grass with lots of space between them. Wish more of their menu had been available to order from, but everyone was happy with their food. Lots of GF options, including dessert! Our server was great, found answers to our questions if she didn't already know them. Will definitely go back.
With a reservation I was told I could not be seated or served as they were busy and short handed. Either take reservations and honor them or not. If all walk in, then make people wait. The manager asked me if I wanted to work. Not professional at all.

Made a reservation for 8 outdoor. When we got there the hostess said they don't take reservations for outdoor and they do not have a table for 8. Looking over the outdoor they do have tables with umbrellas that seat 4. So we said there. Disappointed that open table and the restaurant don't share the same info. In addition, the menu on line list a greater variety than the actual menu. Overall it was ok

Very disappointed. Limited menu. Way too noisy. Reuben sandwich was way too sloppy with bread x 2 in middle of sandwich. Live music was way too loud! Have been there before and other than the noise the food was good. Will not be back!

Cute place... but totally disappointed. Our first time there we had fantastic dinner entrees and drinks. Food was really good. Fun place. Our second time going, we had no idea that the menu had changed and is now very limited. The food quality was terrible, the noise level was ridiculous and the service was slow.

This was our 4th time there. One of our favorite spots. We loved the food the first 3 times . Very disappointed in the quality this time. We ordered a pizza and Reubens as usual. Both were just okay. I understand that clarksburg has undergone recent staff changes . We will go there again but not for several months. Hopefully the food quality will improve once again.
