Ok - so I've been to many, many local delis. And this new place really stands out as the best. My family and friends have recently begun coming too, from my recommendation. I usually get the Mount Vernon East, or I just make up my own sandwich. The bread is wonderful, so fresh, it comes from the Bronx every morning. I love the iced tea as well, so refreshing! I highly recommend this deli. The owner and staff are all very nice, they make you feel welcome for sure. Come and check it out, you'll love it!!

Agree with John below - the Grand Central really is great. Although I'm a fan of getting it with the hot sauce. Definitely recommend, these guys are great!

Avon just opened a few months ago. I've been going there for sandwiches and the food is really good, the people are very friendly, great service, etc. But today convinced me that I needed to get a yelp review up right away because I had one of the best sandwiches EVER! I ordered the Grand Central, which will now be a go-to for me. It's got chicken cutlet, ranch dressing, cheese, bacon, and potato cones (kind of like hush puppies) on a sub roll. You can also get it with hot sauce, but I didn't get that. Go get one. You will thank me later. Let's keep these guys in business....Larchmont needs places like this!!!
