Bagels by Sofia is seriously one of my favorite places. The bagels are always fresh and so good, but what really makes it special is the service. Everyone who works there is so friendly and welcoming — you can tell they actually care about the customers. They’re quick, they remember you, and they always make the vibe feel warm and positive. It’s the kind of spot that just puts you in a good mood. Couldn’t recommend it more!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I just left the store after ordering a classic bagel with 2 eggs and sausage that was never even made. Now I hate making things about race but I find it pretty interesting how I was the first person in the store who ordered, but the customers after me all got their orders & mine was surprisingly never put in after 15 minutes of me waiting for it. I try to give the benefit of the doubt but this is absolutely ridiculous. I arrived around 7:40am with the store completely empty and not at all busy. Had to begin the greeting with the two lady’s at the counter who couldn’t be bothered to stop their conversation to greet the customer. Ordered my bagel, paid and tipped. 15 minutes go by and I get up to finally ask about my order after seeing customers come and go and my order still not ready & the lady behind the counter asked me to repeat my order because it was never placed…. My uber was already outside so I asked her to refund it and print me a receipt. She conveniently couldn’t print me a receipt and refunded the price of the sandwich but not the undeserved tip. Left with no breakfast while every other customer in the store had no issues placing and receiving their orders quickly. Definitely not a place that could ever get my money again. Wasn’t even offered an apology or empathetic response in any manner. Absolutely terrible customer service and a blatant disregard for accountability. Get your bagels and sandwiches elsewhere!!!!!

I'm not sure what the Larchmont standard for bagels is, so i cant say how this compares to others in the area, im from Queens where the bagels are generally larger, more dense, with much crispier crust, with a moistness to the meat of the bagel.
To me the bagels here tasted little different than frozen supermarket bagels, with sort of skimpy toppings esp. on the everything, and not much meat to it.
although we were the only group in the store the apparent boss was quite aggressive in rushing us through the ordering process, in a manner reminiscent of Seinfeld's soup nazi.

They were a little slow on getting our order out and the sandwich could have used a little butter on it when making the bacon egg and cheese bagel but it was definitely good!

I come here every single weekend and am always met with the best service. They have taken the time to remember my order and always ask how school is going. They have such a wide selection of bagels and spreads it is so accommodating. Love it!

If I could give this place NEGATIVE stars I would. Food, service, and everything else about it is poor managment. Better off spending your money at Dunkin’ Donuts.
Absolutely loved our experience, the bagels were fresh, flavorful, and had the perfect texture—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They offer a fantastic variety of spreads and classic options like lox, tuna salad, and egg salad, all beautifully presented.
The service was friendly and professional, and they went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or catering an event, this place delivers on quality and taste. Highly recommend!

I never thought I'd encounter a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel that could taste so bland. We decided to give this spot a try on a Saturday morning, thinking it would be a delightful breakfast treat. Our order was straightforward: two bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches—one on an everything bagel and the other on a cinnamon raisin bagel.
The bagels themselves were super soft and fresh, but somehow, the entire sandwich fell flat in the flavor department. It was quite disappointing, to say the least.
We also opted for a scone, and honestly, it felt like a sugar-free, no-carb version of one because the only thing we could taste were the blueberries. It was such a letdown. Overall, it was an unfortunate experience that left us wishing for something more flavorful.
