The food was very good and wait staff attentive. However, there doesn't appear to be any mask madate, for both staff or diners. Most people attending this restaurant don't wear one and appear to care less. Staff appears unconcerned. Website says masks need to be worn and wait staff wears them. Clearly not the case. Like I said, food was very good, but if covid is a concern, you might want to reconsider.

I've been back and forth re my dining experience at Bellasera last night. It is more like a 3.5, but there were things I liked and things that bothered me. What I did like very much was my swordfish entre special which was excellent. Unfortunately, we didn't inquire about the price and certainly a restaurant has the right to charge whatever they want, but at $42 it was substantially higher than merited IMO. What I did like was the generous pour on the wine by glass -- what I didn't like was that there was no wine list by the glass and that it cost $20. We were greeted at the door by the host/manager/whatever and found his manner to be gruff and stressed -- perhaps on another evening he could be charming and welcoming but we felt distinct attitude which got us off to a bad start. On the other hand, our server(s) were lovely and helpful and attentive. The other food we ordered was a mixed bag. My dinner partner said his veal chop was very good. The brick oven pizza had ok topping but the crust, while thin, was seriously wrong -- very soft, no crispiness or chewiness and bland. Lastly, and what would cause us not to return, was the total non compliance with current NY state Covid regulations -- not one of the staff there was masked, from bartender to servers to food preparers to bus staff to host -- well ok, I did notice one busboy in the other room wearing a mask, but he was literally the only one! We did ask our server about the lack of mask protocol as we were leaving and she said they had all been vaccinated or had had COVID back in December -- glad we didn't eat there that month!

Very nice Italian restaurant with delicious food. A great addition to Larchmont dining scene. Swordfish special was fabulous and my companions loved the veal dishes. Will definitely go back for more!

We had a very good meal at bellasera on a Wednesday night. The service was attentive but not too much so. The food was quite good. Our waitpersons recommendations were very helpful. We enjoyed the fried artichokes, octopus, swordfish (although a bit too saucy) and the chicken cutlet. Our cocktails were very delicious! We will certainly go back and recommend to others.

My wife and I went on a family recommendation, we were highly disappointed. First it seemed that they didn't have our open table reservation and seemingly threw us in a corner table by the bar. Bar patrons were drunk and loud and cursing up a storm ?‍♂️ I ordered the chicken parm, the sauce was bland and very forgettable. My wife had a 38dollar special, the short rib was good but her risotto was flavorless and it was supposed to be parmesan risotto. We normally would have coffees and dessert but we flew out of there & have no desire to return!

Here's the good and the bad. Good: excellent fried calamari, cocktails and table breads, very accommodating manager who attempted to assist with service Bad: very slow service (30 mins to get menus - had to ask manager for them!), very loud, - white clam sauce came with only a dozen very small cockles, have of which were just empty shells

The restaurant was very busy, big tables with loads of different courses and dishes being eaten. We had amazing squid ink pasta, pizza from the pizza oven for the kids which were fantastic, Milanese, great wine and desserts. They were cooking amazing steaks as well. The manager was very friendly and we have even back twice in the last 2 weeks.

This was our second visit because the first time was so good. This visit was also very good however, I wasn't to pleased with the fried oysters, they just didn't taste terrific. Our other dishes were very good. It was an anniversary dinner and we wanted to introduce the restaurant to our son and daughter in law. They enjoyed it very much as well, but like me, my son didn't care for the fried oysters. Oh well, not a catastrophe! We'll all certainly be bag as everything else in food, cleanliness, service and ambiance were wonderful!

Went on a Friday night, sat outside. It was busy and there is Covid, BUT 50 minutes to get a menu and order a drink. We tried several times to get someone to help us to no avail. Give us a drink and menu and we would have something. Veal Chop special was just okay. Steak was ordered medium rare, arrived after almost an hour medium well. Could not get other drinks, etc. There were two waiter working outside and several wait staff that tried to help. We are a lot of bread and water that night. Will not be back.
