This place was amazing because of the people first, then the food. Andy was incredible, funny, kind, and welcoming to both me and my dog. There was also another gentleman working outside who was so nice and added to the warm, friendly atmosphere. The staff here truly make you feel like family. Sitting outside honestly felt like a movie scene. The coffee was phenomenal, the food was fresh, and the vibe was everything. 5 stars don’t even feel like enough. I’ll absolutely keep supporting this business! Thanks again Andy! You rock! 🙏

Food was absolutely amazing. If I can give the food a 5/5 I definitely would. But our services at the end was not good. I ordered a hot latte and our server brought a cold one. I was not upset about that because for the simple fact that we’re human and mistakes happen and also noticed it got pretty busy/hectic during the time our food arrived. When our server came back I told her hey I asked for a hot latte not a cold one can I please receive that instead and in a to go cup please , (in the nicest tone as possible to ensure her I was not upset). I then asked her for it to be in a to go cup because our food was already done. When our food & drinks initially arrived we did not have our server come by to see if we wanted anything else but still we were u see understanding to the fact that the restaurant was busy. When our bill came, my friend who was putting it on her card looked over at me & said “do you have cash for tip” I said “yes don’t worry” so OBVIOUSLY that means we have to select the “no tip option” in the credit card machine. Mind you during this whole time I still did not get my drink. Our bill was about $216 with taxes and gratuity was again not included.. We all decided to provide her a 15% tip off the subtotal which is what we usually use (the subtotal) to calculate how much to give which was $30. We usually like to do cash tips because if we put it on the card she won’t receive payment till way later on & just prefer to give tip out in cash. We all then walked over to the front where they make the coffees/drinks and wanted to give the woman her cash tip In hand because we’ve seen too many crazy scenarios where people steal other people’s tips right off the table. We wanted to give it to her but she did not walk up to us. We gave her the tip and asked where the latte was. She pointed at a random coffee cup that was sitting on the table and said oh here it is and did not hand it to me.m just left it on the table where it was sitting at. She just left it on the table and I was “Wait, excuse me we have something for you” and gave her the tip. To be very honest, if she did say thank you she might have mumbled it, but I don’t recall it. As we were walking out, I’m not sure if the young man was the manager, but he asked my friend who put the bill on her card:
“Excuse me are you the one that covered the bill?” She said “yes why what happened?” he said “was there something wrong with the Service?” To then she said “no why?” and he said “well because you did not leave her a tip” and she said “well we gave her a cash tip” and he did not say anything after that. No apologies nothing. Sure enough when she first got the receipt and saw we selected the “no tip” option she might have complained but our service was not even finished for us to properly give her the cash. We all found it highly unprofessional for them to approach us for a tip when we were not even given the opportunity to. It was our friends birthday and we were all trying to have a good family breakfast outdoors and came across this upsetting situation at the end. I believe our servers name was Cassandra because that is what it says on the receipt. Just a word of advise, please give people the opportunity to fully close out their bill and thank you for your service. You saw us sitting there for a good 10 minutes patiently after charging the card but didn’t give us the same grace with the tip like we gave you with the service.

This spot is great for a quick bite and breakfast/lunch- I ordered one of the speciality latte last which was delicious. The soft scrambled chilli eggs I feel needed more authenticity as it felt underwhelming. The chicken has a bit of a fresh smell to it. The service was lacking, no one came to check back on the table after we received our order. We asked for the check and was given the POS machine to pay. Just give the check, there's no need to rush for someone to pay and the tip is suggested automatically.

Enjoyed their food and drinks. Had to wait a while for a table and service was slow. I would go again. The place was clean, but they were slow so some tables stayed a while not being cleaned. Would go again

I’ve tried this place 3x time and always leave disappointed. During my most recent visit there were flies and small nats flying all over our section, before we even ordered food. I asked the staff if we could move and it appeared to be a big deal and they seemed surprised that the bugs bothered us. Our server approached us rudely and made it seem like he was doing us a huge favor by taking our order. And the food was bland. They serve you coffee in a glass carafe and within moments it was cold. When I asked for a fresh “pot” they just reheated the same one I already had. For a place that positions themselves as a breakfast spot, since when is it acceptable to microwave coffee?! Sure it might look cute in the glass vessel but it isn’t practical.
To top of off, the bathroom was hideous. My husband doesn’t have particularly elevated standards when it comes to public restrooms but even he was grossed out and told me not to bother. For a restaurant? No thanks.
It’s too bad Stanz was closed.

Olivia makes the best lattes and always serves them with a smile. We always enjoy breakfast and lunch at Bluestone Lane in Larchmont.

Service is consistently bad.
Two times in a row I asked for gluten free bread and they brought regular bread. Second time I was so frustrated I didn’t ask they fix it as it took 30 min just to get the food. The manager made it out like he did me a favor that he didn’t charge me. I was so hungry that I couldn’t even push back. I’m done with this place.
