Oh my.. just when I thought life was crashing down I sat and thought to myself why have I been cheating myself for all these years.. I had to eat something of only the finest and what a self claimed sophisticated man would eat in his time of hardships in his business I can across Brasserie Le Steak, where I have witnessed greatness.I called in to a polite greeting I then asked May I order take out, the woman on the telephone had told me of course why not, (big plus for me) I then ordered a steak tartare and couldn’t choose between the escargot or calamari, I asked if the calamari has legs and if there is a tartar sauce available and what was available was marinara sauce which is fine I been to many establishments where this is regular so no lost points but that instantly made me go for the escargot, she politely told me give 15 minutes for the order to be ready and I had no issue. On my way there I stumbled across the crème brûlée on the website and the woman again had no issue to add to my existing order. Upon pick up I paid cash and all was well and also tipped on the service of the phone call. Now as I arrived back to my office, I opened these wonderful dishes and everything is a 10!!! The food is amazing the flavors are just right these dishes were made with love. Thank you so much for this experience as I will arrive again

I can't recommend Brasserie Le Steak strongly enough. The food is great. The service is excellent and the ambiance is perfect. We have been there three times and each time it's been excellent! I highly suggest Mussels Marinière w/ Frites and the Chicken Française over linguini. But you can't go wrong with anything on the menu! Think Steak Frites!A long time staple in Manhattan, we are so thrilled the owners have moved to Larchmont. We can't wait to go back!

Recently held a private event at Le Steak and couldn't recommend it more highly. Venue was perfect, and we were able to have it all to ourselves (approx 50 people). Great food and service for a great value, and the owner and staff were incredible hosts.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free friendlyKid-friendliness: Kid friendly

This is the place to go for a first class reasonably priced steak dinner, or just a great French dinner. Food is first rate.

After 80 minutes of watching other people eat (Saturday, 7 pm reservation) we complained loudly. To be fair, the manager paid for the meal. But I would rather pay for a good meal than, argue over poor service and satisfactory food.

When you want the best thing dining experience, you expect both the service and quality of food and these guys knocked it out of the park. The mussels are a perfect appetizer to share and be sure to ask for extra bread to dip in the sauce. I have never had a miscooked steak here. Temp is always perfect with each cut.Be sure to bring your dates here or anyone else you want to treat. They will love it. When a steak spot has the French approach, you cannot go wrong.

Brasserie Le Steak is an epicurean delight. We had the mussels and fries, escargot, macadamia crusted chicken, house salad and lemon tart. Every dish was meticulously crafted and cooked to perfection. Excellent staff and the friendliness of the owner make for a wonderfully warm and welcoming dining experience. We can’t wait to go back!

I tried this restaurant during restaurant week for the first time. It's a bright and clean open space. For starters, I had a house salad and then I ordered the Le Steak burger medium rare. My friend ordered a Croque madame. My house salad came and looked quite naked. There was nothing on it but lettuce. No tomato, No carrot, no nothing. Hmmm...It was ok, just bland. I hoped that the entrées that arrived we're better. My burger was excellent, with crispy bacon and a nice onion jam, perfectly done. The Croque madame was also delicious and executed well. The service was OK, a couple of mistakes were made, with the food, but then remedied. It would be nice to have a wine list when you ask for one, instead of having the waitress recite what they have. We wanted to see pricing and determine if it was better to get a bottle or have it by the glass.

My new go to for classic french. I have been looking for a menu like this for awhile. Food was was incredible. Service was perfect! Out server knew the wine list and her food recommendations were spot on. A warm baguette came out first. We split the goat cheese and tomato tart which was incredible! My daughter had the rib eye and mashed potatoes i had the sole almandine which was perfection. We finished by splitting the chocolate mousse. I can’t sat enough good thongs about this restaurant! All in all a lovely evening.
