This is my go to spot in Larchmont for both Chinese and sushi. They have great Chinese food with a fairly typical menu you would expect with a few extras you don't find everywhere. Also have a nice sushi menu. When ordering sushi you wouldn't expect much from a Chinese restaurant but it is on par with any other sushi you would get in the area. Overall very nice people, nice atmosphere, great service, good food and a good menu. Glad this place is here.

Usually consistently forgets to put forks and spoons in my takeout. I ended up having to eat with my bare hands. ?? They told me before that they do not put forks and spoons in takeout as standard practice. ?

Ordered through grub hub, their own delivery service staff member handed me the food bag and said “tip?” . We tip after we receive the food, and explained that. He then proceeded to call his boss who demanded a tip. This delivery guy then took one step into our apartment and we immediately became defensive. He dropped the bag and left. Spoke with Grubhub and we see similar complaints made against this restaurant regarding the same issue. Don’t ever order from this place, we won’t and he now lost out on his tip.

Average Chinese restaurant that fails to stand out. We ate at the restaurant on a quiet weeknight when the restaurant had the opportunity to shine.. The service was fair and our waiter had to be reminded for some of our requests. The food missed the mark on several levels. The wonton/eggdrop soup was overly salty, the portion size of sesame noodles was tiny, and neither the saki nor our entrees were hot. Overall, attention to detail was missing and I don't recommend this restaurant.

Came here for lunch today with my husband and what a treat it was. We ordered two lunch sets: the General Tso's chicken and the 四季豆 pronounced "si ji dou" and translates to "four seasons beans". The latter is one of those dishes that is particularly hard to get right. How to describe it? I don't think I can do it justice, but it's not soggy nor oily. I think this place does this dish best in all of Westchester. They're also really generous with the meat here - most other places just give you a little bit of minced pork. I also like their hot and sour soup which is full of Chinese vinegary goodness. The General Tso's chicken was also very good and is quite different from what you get at a Chinese takeaway. We will definitely be back!

Hunan Larchmont is my go to place when I want Chinese food. The staff are super friendly and very accommodating. The food is excellent, specially the pork friend rice, sesame chicken, chicken and broccoli. I look forward to try other dishes. I come all the way from the Bronx to eat at this delish restaurant! Great food. Good service. Nice atmosphere. The sushi quality is absolutely great. The soup dumplings are amazing. And everything I've had there has been above average.
This place has gotten worse and worse since the beginning of the pandemic. Preparation rushed and careless. Ordered steamed vegetables with tofu and received 3 huge blobs of tofu - about a pound worth - with a few pieces of vegetable.

I have been going to this place for over 20 years off and on. The food has gotten really bad sad to say. not sure what happened. The chef left? Hostess at the front has been there for 20 years and cold. Today wiill probably be the last time I go to this place.
