"I was excited to try Village Bagels after seeing they were offering a free coupon for a sandwich. When I went in, I ordered my sandwich but was disappointed to find out that they didn’t honor the coupon after I had already placed my order. The sandwich itself was just okay—nothing special. What really bothered me was the poor service. It felt like they didn’t care about the customers or keeping their word on promotions. Overall, not a great experience, and I don't think I'll be back anytime soon."

Lived here my entire life and stopped in from time to time. Never had an issue personally. Some reviews are just petty but who knows, like I said personally I’ve never had a problem and people seemed generally nice.

They are illegally charging more for using credit cards. Read below.New York businesses must advertise accurate prices. A business may offer a discount if consumers pay in cash, but cannot charge more at the register simply because a consumer uses their credit card", said Secretary of State Rossana Rosado, who oversees the New York State Division of Consumer Protection.

There’s a lot to not like about this place—the poorly trained employees who are in a constant state of flux, never being sure you are going to get what you ordered, the rudeness of some employees. But today there was a new one to add to the list. They were supposed to be open until 7pm on Sunday’s. You’d think that they’d make it to at least 6:30, right? Nah, man. They closed before four. Nothing on the website saying they’d be closing early. Nothing on the door. The employees just decided they were done working for the day 3 hours early and closed up shop. When we walked up to the door, the employees were still there. They just shrugged at us. Maybe they were slow. Maybe there were no customers after the breakfast rush. Then set your hours accordingly. Because a good way to keep losing customers is to advertise you’ll be open til 7, have them get in their car at 3:30 to make a special trip to your store, and be greeted by your staff shrugging at them because they wanted to cut out early.

Decent bagel but the women making the sandwiches are violating a lot of health codes (hairnet/gloves) and my bagel n cream cheese was over $6.Cash flow at this business is probably very poor if your put your prices that high. It’s bread and cream cheese lol.

I paid almost $8 for a bagel with cream cheese and look how cheap they were with the cream cheese. Bagels itself are good but this place is very overpriced for what they give. Also felt very rushed to order
