Overpriced, dry, and salty food. Service is extremely slow. Cashier kept playing with her fake eye lashes. Three inch eye lashes to work at Dickey's? Then see proceeded to hand me a cup, mind you, she touches the rim of the cup, has her dirty hands in my cup. Went to the bathroom while waiting 20 minutes to get a three meat plate ready. In the middle of the floor, which I tripped over as it was dark, was either a printer or register, some type of machine that was busted up and left in the middle of the bathroom floor. Go to Outback---cheaper and better food.

Number one: service was extremely slow.Number two: Afro ethnic music, playing really loudly, and, despite the fact that I told the associate three times I could not hear her talking to me, no one offered to turn the music down. Also, who wants to sit in a barbecue restaurant and listen to African music? Number three: they were out of jalapeño cheddar sausage, but didn't tell me until after waiting approximately seven minutes into my order. Number four: they had no ice tea. Number five I was not asked if I wanted to dine in or carry out. They just put all my food in a bag. When I asked, if there was no dining in, she told me "sure we can put your stuff on a tray". Shouldn't that be a question that is asked when my food is either ordered or ready to be served? Number six: no utensils were available, and I had to ask for them.Number seven: they charge $2.99 for a cup of WATER. It has been several years since I have been to this Dickey's restaurant. I will not be going back. And, as of the time I am writing this review, I haven't even tasted the food yet. If it does not live up to what I have come to expect from a Dickey's BBQ, I will re-edit this review .Edit: the brisket and pulled pork were marginal at best c

I drove so far to be so disappointed brisket was fatty with no flavor the string beans taste old the Mac and cheese was salty soooo salty like they just poured the salt it in. Rolls were hard and tasteless. Beans were good that’s all I ate. Pulled pork was not good everything was not edible. Very

Mashed Potatoes looking soupy in a plastic bag, transferring meat with your gloved fingers. Just not my cup of tea. I've ordered from them several times before using Door Dash, the food wasn't bad although portions size was small. This was my first time in person; I was disappointed. Did, I mention portion size? Up your game.

I pulled up at 8:25 and the lights were on but the door was locked The sign in the window says they're open till 9:00I ordered from a place 2 doors down As I was eating in my car i saw two people shut the lights and lock the door at 8:50

I was in the area and was looking for some lunch. I've had this spot bookmarked on Yelp forever. I was pissed because normally I would be ordering some pull pork but I gave up the other red meat since COVID. They have decent menu options. I was indecisive about which brisket deal to get and the young lady behind the counter was very helpful and and friendly. Prices were fair and reasonable. The restaurant wasn't set up for dining in and appeared to be more of a take out spot. I finally decided on the brisket sandwich that had this flavory sauce. I went home and heated my sandwich up a little and feasted. The bread was nice and soft and the meat was absolutely delicious. I was pleasantly surprised how tasty the meat was with the combination of all the seasonings.I will definitely return to check out some other menu items.

I had mine Delivered, it was a surprise by a friend and Boy oh Boy what a delightful surprise. First time having it and it was scrumptious ?I recommend them fully.... now I have to try whatever else they have.

I just ordered the Wednesday Special and the meat is old and dry! I'm back to work and can't return it. Drive past this place! The guy who took my order had to come from behind the counter to read the menu as he didn't know what the special was. I should have left then!

Completely average. Nothing here to rave about. If you're hungry you may be satisfied. Service average and attention to detail minimal. I arrived and it was not busy yet 2 customers quickly overwhelmed the sole attendant. Food seasoning was just plain average, service, average, prices normal. Needless to say I don't need to go again. Up the ante Dickies. Lets go!

Ordered for delivery. Pork burnt ends and brisket were both really good, sides are lackluster. Not bad for Far Rockaway.
