The food is fantastic
First time coming here and had the best fruit smoothie I ever had.
Personally would come here for that alone. Unless you like spicy foods as well then you should enjoy the food.

Food was good but there was a huge scotch bonnet pepper I bit into. Was wayyy too spicy they should warn ppl that they leave the peppers inside sheesh
Beef patty & coco Bread always incredible with a Strawberry/Ginger Juice ....
The porridge is way too tasteless. Usually the cornmeal porridge has richness to it, however, every time we buy it here (twice already) it's always tasteless because it's mostly water. I usually make it with almond milk and coconut milk, but I guess that's what you get when you buy from outside.
Additionally, the jerk chicken was dry. The meat was overly dry and only the BBQ sauce added some moisture.
Dumplings are always tough and never soft-ish.
Salt fish w/ callaloo seems to be overdone as well. My daughter says the rice was also burned.
It used to be very good, so I'm not sure what happened, but I'm sure the cost of food is the culprit because everything is just not the same.
So I used to love this place the food was good and the portions were fair. But today I order 2 platters of the brown stew chicken with rice and peas and for the first time ever the server proceeded to count the chicken and gave me 4 pieces. Now if you know stew meat is a chicken section cut up and some times depending on the section you can get 3 pieces. So I paid 12+ for a chicken and a 1/2 steam veg and four scoops of rice. Also I ordered a piece of Mac and cheese and was assumed to be broke because I was told the price but I never asked the price. Server seemed to have an attitude with me as if I was an ex. And also I was standing in line and was overlooked as she tried to take some else’s order.
Not just a beef patty spot, even though the patties are always fresh and hot. I’ve had the jerk pork (my favorite, also pictured) curry goat, ackee and salt fish w/dumpling and banana and the macaroni pie. This doesn’t at all taste like franchise food, the chefs cook with love. Tastes like home cooked food. Get there!
The food arrived at an unacceptable temperature, the coco bread was excessively hard, and the cashier demonstrated unprofessional behavior.
This place has out done it's self with actual Caribbean cuisines such as oxtail and many more, beef patties nice and crispy not soggy a very good experience

The dinners look ok but stop selling the beef patties immediately!There is no meat in the patties.It is all crust.Repeat,stop selling crust patties.Golden Crust used to be the place to go to for hot,juicy patties.No more.
Extremely disappointing.. Worst brown stew snapper ever. The fish was dry and unchewable and swimming in tomato ketchup. The onions and carrots were rubbery like this things was cooked 2days ago. I had to throw $22 in the trash
This is an update after 2 weeks of trying to get in touch with the manager The issue has still not been resolved. I can't blame the girls at work here but he doesn't answer the phone he doesn't give them some directive as to how to deal with the situation. Another lady was here with the same complaint, she eventually got her money back. It's a shame he's giving Golden krust and Jamaican food and bad rep.
I just want to get another meal and go bout my business
