Food is pretty incredible and the pastries (almond and chocolate croissants) are as close to a Parisienne cafe as you’re gonna get in Queens/Nassau counties. Owner is very nice. Staff friendliness is a hit or miss and locals dining in are not overly welcoming that’s why I do take out early in the morning on Sundays. My family is always excited when they see the clear Patis bag holding their favorite croissants.

Delicious food. Great service.

Just keep your eyes on the prices. The menu doesn’t reflect what you are being charged at the register.

I walked into this café and, unfortunately, had a very poor experience. Neither of the two women behind the counter acknowledged me when I entered. I spent about 3–5 minutes looking at the options—right in front of them—and still wasn’t greeted.

I went to the register twice. The first time, I gave them a moment after a few seconds, but they were talking and never turned to me. The second time, I stood at the counter and even said “excuse me” twice to the staff member just an arm’s length away, yet I was still ignored. At that point, I left.

It’s disappointing because the customers inside seemed to be enjoying their treats, and I love pastries myself. I work close by and was hoping to make this my new go-to spot, especially since I visit Panera 4–8 times a week and wanted a change. Unfortunately, the lack of basic customer service left me wondering why I was treated differently.

There’s only one thing that differentiated me from the other customers, and I truly hope that’s not the kind of service this business regularly provides to people like me.

I'm almost hesitant to give a positive review only because one of the things I love about it is that it's still a nice place to eat where it's not overcrowded. The food is always fresh and delicious. They're baked goods are their specialty and they do it quite well. If you're lucky you'll be there while they're giving out free samples. It's such a nice salad, sandwich, soup type of place. Although there is not officially waiter service, once you've placed your order, the staff will often bring your food to the table. It's just a friendly vibe. Also, their prices are very good and on the low end for comparable food in the area. There is free parking on site.

We were customers for this franchise for a long long time. We went to most of the various locations but this one USE to be our favorite. When ordering an avocado toast at The previous locations they didn’t toast the bread to be as hard as a rock. Once we spoke to a worker, she was very rude. Said there was nothing she could do. But The reason I gave service even a single star was because the guy at the register was nice and calm, and not rude at all through this process. We did get our earned refund but overall, Patis the franchise is great but maybe try any other location.

The food is ok, but for the price and how it was presented, it is pricy! It was served on a paper plate . You will get your own napkins and utensils, with that , price should be less or no tip for there is no service.
When I was there , I overheard this curly haired Spanish speaking lady staff was rude to one of the middle aged lady customer. The customer apologized for she did not hear what she said and the staff didn’t even acknowledge the customer.
Not coming back and will not recommend.
