We were able to get an appointment for a cake tasting right away and the baker was very accommodating to our needs. Prior to this baker, we went to another baker for a cake tasting and based on our initial impressions, we knew that Batter Up! would be the clear choice. We were able to sample various cake flavors and fillings and all of them were amazing.
For our wedding of 200+ guests, we ordered a four-tiered guava and strawberry/custard cake. The strawberries were fresh and the guava paste was sweet. Our wedding was in August, and to this day, our guests still tell us how great the cake tasted. We recommend Batter Up! to all couples that are looking for a great baker in Long Island.

We used Batter Up for our wedding cake and they were excellent! They accommodated our schedule for the tasting by putting together a to-go box when our schedule did not allow for us to go there to sit down and try the flavors. We did not get to eat our cake the night of the wedding because we were being pulled in a million different directions that night but the venue boxed up the entire top layer for us to bring home and we had it the next morning - it was still so fresh and delicious the next day! Definitely recommend this bakery.

This place need to get there act together. Scheduled a tasting because my venue switched to them . Called twice no answer finally when someone picked up they had no clue what to do. When we came in for tasting no one had a clue where my appointment was .We sat for 25 min and decided to leave and use another bakery . We didn't feel comfortable using an unorganized inexperienced bakery for our special day. Maybe cake could have been good but no thank you.

I don't know what all the hype is about. Went there this morning bought cookie and pastries. Cookie were stale , rainbows were dry. The pastries were overly sweet. Nobody touched anything except the napoleons were decent. Nothing special and Similar to a supermarket product. Staff was playing on phone when I entered.

We had a whole dessert parade planned at the Mansion of Oyster Bay for our wedding, so we did not think the cake could top it. Batter Up Bakery was suggested to us by the Mansion and we reached out to schedule a meeting. We happened to arrive at the bakery much earlier than expected, driving from NJ, to LI, and the bakery was still so accommodating and let us begin our trial earlier than scheduled. We were given many samples and varieties to try. We told the baker that our real favorite flavors were chocolate chip for Zach and cookies and cream for Rob. A few minutes later we were delighted to see that they had whipped up a custom made filling based on both flavors and it was delicious. We decided to go with both fillings as layers and it was a hit. The cake not only looked beautiful, but tasted amazing. The bakery will work with you to fully customize your wedding cake look and taste. It is also important to note that this was a Jewish, LGBT wedding and the cake had to be kosher/ pareve and it still tasted great. As for the gay element, other bakeries we talked to immediately showed us rainbow cake insides as an obvious choice when they heard it was a gay wedding. While that may work for some couples, that wasn’t the style we were going for, we wanted a classic cake aesthetic. Batter Up Bakery only showed us classic options from the start and we felt so comfortable knowing they had our best interest at heart. We 100% recommend Batter Up Bakery for any occasion (especially weddings)!

There was no distinct flavor it tasted very bland almost as if they forgot an ingredient .in my opinion it very average except for the price which seemed very high for the lack of quality
