Stopped by Dortoni Bakery in Levittown last weekend and I was honestly blown away. The desserts in the case looked incredible. I picked up a few cannolis and a slice of cheesecake — both were delicious! The staff was super nice and quick with service too.

Every time I visit Dortoni, I feel like I'm in desert heaven. From Tiramisu to fruit tarts, they have it all and everything is delicious. Super clean and organized too. Highly recommended

This bakery used to be my go to and so good but it’s horrible nowadays. Out of stuck of things all the time, horrible service, they walk around and not assisting cuts timers. Find to find a new bakery

Do yourself a favor and don’t order any cakes from them. Yes they used to bake great cakes but not anymore. I’ve put up with them so many times. It’s just appalling now. If you want real cake go elsewhere because what you order will only be frosting frosting frosting. Imagine paying $180 for frosting instead of cake.Ridiculous.If you think I DIDN’T instruct them to cut down on frosting because of similar experiences then you’re wrong. I told them to make the frosting inside the cake as non existent as possible on all 3 different occasions that I have been disappointed.If you want spoonfuls of frosting then of course this is the place for you. I honestly think they are trying to run this place down because just look at the recent reviews in the past 2 years. They are all true. Just don’t waste money here! And of course I brought the cake back for a refund. All of you should too!!

A cake from Dortoni’s in Levittown was included with our venue’s package. There is no upcharge for any of their standard cake selection no matter what size you need. We were able to do a cute cake tasting with them which was so fun and you get to try a good handful of their cakes and icings/fillings. At our tasting, They gave us a gift card for a free 1 year anniversary cake where they will recreate a smaller version of our wedding cake! We had a rather large wedding - almost 200 guests - and needed a 4 tier cake. We chose a vanilla cake with Italian Custard filling, cannoli filling, and vanilla buttercream frosting. They provide you with plenty of design options from their standard looks. We loved working with them! Our cake topper was from Etsy, and our florist decorated the cake with flowers which turned out to be absolutely stunning. Highly recommend Dortoni’s- a Long Island staple and absolutely delicious.

This used to be the best bakery in the world. It has changed so much over the last couple of years, been disappointed the last few times. I guess they chose quantity over quality since they opened several other stores. It’s not worth the long wait any longer. I hope the owners decide to bring it back to what it used to be
On Sunday, I went right before closing to purchase a fruit tart for my dad’s birthday. I noticed right away that the rectangular fruit tarts you used to sell are no longer available, and the ones that were there only had canned pineapple, raspberries, and kiwi. Since that was all that was offered, I asked the staff member to take one out for me—but as she did, fruit flies started flying around inside the case. Because of that, I decided to go with a tres leches cake with fruit on top instead.
When I got to my dad’s house, less than 15 minutes away, I opened the box and found milk pooling around the cake with a strange smell. Once we cut into it, the cake was mushy and falling apart. It was such a disappointment, especially since this bakery has always been my go-to for special occasions. The birthday cake—the centerpiece of our celebration—ended up being a complete disaster. I was very upset, and unfortunately, I don’t plan on returning after this experience.
