Dortoni Bakery and Pastry Shoppe

Completely messed up our cake. Didn’t even include a design on the cake like we agreed on. We literally had a plain white cake on our wedding day it was so embarrassing!! Do better.

If i could i would have given them a zero star. Call themseleves as neighbourhood bakery but when i asked them to deliever my cake they said it would cost us $40 for the delievery. On my request to make sure atleast the cake is packed and ready they said it not possible Disguting.

Went to Dortoni’s to buy cupcakes for my daughter’s 1 month photoshoot. Bought 6 cupcakes paid $23 and they were stale and hard as a rock. So disappointed because I could have baked box mix cupcakes and they would have tasted way better and would have been way cheaper. Why sell people stale disgusting cake ? Won’t be spending another dollar here .

Had my wedding at Giorgio’s on 10/06/24. Had a contract with them since January 2023. They called 2 weeks ago to make sure they got their money and never showed up with my wedding cake. They lied saying they lost the receipt but magically found it when other Bakery made our cake. Their response was “let’s go Mets” and “let’s not tell the bride or groom about this error. Would never use their service again.

Our cake was ruined and Dortoni knowingly handed this order to my wife with a straight face and no remorse given this was a special order to mark my daughters 1/2 year old birthday celebration.
They placed pieces of plastic at the bottom of the cake to prevent it from collapsing completely, which is a clear indication they knew they cake had collapsed. They should have acknowledged their costly mistake. I just want you to know we noticed the final product you handed to us and wanted to make you aware of your dishonesty. HM

I purchased a cake because the Hotel Allegria recommended this bakery to me. The cake was fine. The icing was disgusting. It was supposed to be buttercream but there was no butter in this icing. Instead it tasted like lard or some other type of greasy substance and was so thick! Additionally, I bought gluten-free cupcakes for family with gluten issues. Paid $1.00/cupcake extra b/c of the gluten free. They came in a box with another name on it - not Dountini’s AND no one ate any of them. My grandson said they were disgusting. Would never use this bakery again and will recommend that the Allegria not recommend!
