This place has been around forever! The original owner recently passed away at 90 years old just after he sold the place to a new owner. The jukebox is great! Has a ton of selections, all different genres of music... ? ? ? The bartender was very friendly and cool. The place isn't fancy but it's a local hometown bar and an area staple never the less. There's a pool table in back of bar also. Always meet some interesting people too? ? lol

About a year ago in July my son went with his two friends to celebrate her birthday, he doesn't have yelp but I will tell you all what went down: -It was his friends 22nd birthday and they decided to try out the bar again as they had been there before for "free taco night" and said it was very fun and the woman bartender was "super nice". -Upon arriving my son had been wearing nail polish as he is part of the theater community and was in a show which required him to wear nail polish (Don't know how relevant this is) keep in mind everyone was over the age of 21. It took a long time for the bartender to even serve my son, so he told he his friend had put his drinks on her tab. -When they decided to pay, my son's friend paid for most of their drinks but he wanted to get one last beer. As he went to tip the bartender who was an older gentleman, the bartender took a look at my sons nails and said "I don't want your money" in a very rude and harsh tone, when my son asked why, the bartender scoffed at him and did not answer. I don't know how this is acceptable, my son came home very upset, and while I understand everyone has different views on the way men should present themselves, this is no excuse to be rude to a customer. Needless to say they told all of their friends about it and will still tell the story to this day. Shame on that bartender, grow up!
