Mu husband and I had lunch here today. We were both very happy with our entrees. I had penne primavera - it was made with FRESH vegetables with a very nice not greasy marinara. Mu husband had Rigatoni Ortolano and he was very pleased too. We ordered lunch portions which were very generous. Neither of us finished our entrees but were happy to have take home for tomorrow's lunch. Clean and friendly staff too! You won't be disappointed. One of the best penne primavera I've found around here. We'll be back!
Sometimes it's easy to tell a great slice of pizza even when the slice is reheated. For me, the taste and the texture of the pizza was a little above average but was not one of the best slices I've had in NY or Long Island. The edge of the slice was flat and a bit undercooked, there was not enough sauce under the cheese and the slice dripped of oil.
When I'm in the area, I always try to get to Calda. The Pizza recipe is consistent in all three locations. We ordered one pie with half meatball/half pepperoni. It was terrific! The sliced meatballs were very flavorful and well seasoned. Pepperoni used was cup & char. High quality toppings on a top notch pizza. Chicken Parm pizza had a good amount of tender chicken and a hearty old school red sauce. We were very pleased with the pizza and we will continue visiting when in the area.

The Levittown location is nestled in a small shopping center near the Levittown library. The dishes served here are worthy of a high end restaurant. The menu is varied, offering some Greek specialities. Portions are plentiful and most customers are carrying a take away bag for tomorrow’s lunch. The pasta dishes are enormous and served piping hot, a favorite the California Penne is loaded with grilled chicken, broccoli and sun dried tomatoes in a white wine broth. Dine in guests can munch on complimentary garlic knots, pizza dough rolls and a small vessel of tomato sauce. Sign up for their email list and you will be rewarded with a Thursday flash sale notice. The discount varies week to week but can solve a dinner dilemma mid-week. The staff is generally accommodating and friendly. We have dined at Anthony’s station several times; very attentive warm service. Although there are 3 locations, we have dined only at the Levittown location and recommend the food and staff at the Levittown site.
My fiancé and I have been dining here often and I cannot say enough about how delicious and fresh the food is that we have enjoyed. The specials are always a culinary delight as is the varied menu options. The restaurant is immaculate and the wait staff could not be more attentive. One of the best Italian restaurants in Nassau County for sure.
