My friend’s band was supposed to play this weekend...management pulled the plug on them because the crowd looked too light early in the evening. This is totally not OK with me...a deal is a deal. I will not step foot in this business as long as those kind of unscrupulous business decisions are being made.

Bands that are booked at Grunts in the future, beware. We didn’t bring in enough people as anticipated. Started 7:30 pm. The band was performing on all cylinders, not too loud. Manager of grunts walks up to singer and tells him 4 songs in to pack it up. Not enough people here, we’re only paying you half of promised money. They just don’t understand what it takes for musicians to set up and perform.
