Went to Spice Village for lunch today. At that time of day the restaurant felt cold and looked a little dreary. We were about to leave when the owner Naresh came over with some welcoming bread. He was friendly and very welcoming. My daughter and I decided to stay. We ordered the vegetable samosas and chef specials yogurt chicken from the appetizer menu and as our main dish we had the butter chicken with garlic nan. Glad we stayed. Everything we had was quite delicious.

Not sure why this place has such a high review but omg what a disappointment. I was so looking forward to having dinner from here, especially based on the reviews but it was such a huge let down.
I ordered the goat curry, which just tastes burnt and bitter. Never again. The samosa is just dry on the outside and mushy on the inside. Definitely NOT the right dough or consistency for samosa. The jeera rice was dry and unseasoned. The mango lassi was okay, found a whole grain of uncooked rice in it so that was fun.
Not a fan of the stuffed paratha but I can’t judge too hard as I’m it’s my first time having it so not quite sure what it’s supposed to taste like.
Overall, not a great experience.
There are too good. Food fantastic.
