I loved the variety of cakes, small desserts and pastries offered. The staff was very attentive and helpful. I bought a chocolate mousse cake, a few breakfast pastries and Italian bread. The place is clean and even with a short line of customers, I didn't feel rushed or had to wait long to receive assistance. I would definitely come back for future purchases.

I recently visited Sweet Surrender to order a cake (the same cake which I have been ordering for years). The employee at the counter produced a written description of the exact cake that I intended to order, we agreed, and she wrote the inscription that I wanted on the cake. When I arrived to pick up the cake, not only was the inscription wrong, but the cake was not the cake that I had ordered (as indicated by the written description that was provided). While the writing was corrected, the final product was sloppy. When I expressed my disappointment, I was assured that I would be contacted by the bakery manager to address these issues. As of the time of this review there has been no contact.
There are several other bakeries in town who care about doing right by their customers. Sadly, this experience has been an unexpected disappointment.

Absolutely incredible always a pleasure shopping at Sweet surrender The peanut butter devil's food combination that I got for my friend's birthday was out of this world definitely will be back for that on top of all of the other items I love from this location seven layer cake to die for it's out of stock usually because people love it so much

I recently placed an order from this bakery for my office, and it was my very first experience with them absolutely amazing! The French strawberry vanilla cake stole the show and has officially become my new favorite. The flavor was perfectly balanced, fresh, and indulgent. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

I had a 70th Birthday party spent $150 on cakes. THE WRITING WAS WRONG ON MAIN CAKE. AND SENT A KEY-LIME PIE THAT WAS WATERY AND SOUR! AND THEN compensated me with a $30 refund.
