Going in, I knew this place was expensive, but I was shocked to see New York prices in Liberty New York. Pasta puttanesca, a vegan dish with tomatoes, capers, and olives for $26? It was more expensive than a dish with protein, the very delicious chicken Parmesan for $25. At this price point, I would not expect the servers to re-move my used utensils from my appetizer plate and put them back on the table. Take the dirty plates and the dirty utensils and give dinners fresh utensils in a white tablecloth restaurant. The caprese salad, in the middle of summer, should have had the ripest, most glorious tomatoes, not what appeared to be grocery store cellophane-wrapped hot house, tomatoes. That being said, the service was very good, and for the most part so was the food. I just can't quite get over the pastas, especially without protein being in the high 20s.

Last night we had a most wonderful dinner at Piccolo Paese. I had known about the restaurant for many years but because we live about 40 minutes away we hadn’t tried it. Luckily we finally did. Everything from the second we walked in until we finished our meal was great. I had an arugula and parmigiana salad with pine nuts and lemon vinaigrette and for my meal I had mushroom ravioli in a delicious cream sauce which was a special and a side of broccoli raab. My husband had a Caesar salad and a fusilli pasta meal. Everything was prepared to perfection. The Caesar salad was put together at our table. For dessert my husband had a chocolate lava cake and I had salted caramel ice cream. I believe that everything was prepared fresh, I know that the pasta was freshly made. We cannot say enough good things, we will be back and we will bring friends. It’s so wonderful to find another restaurant here in Sullivan County that we can call our go to restaurant. That sounds weird, but there was a time when there were no restaurants to choose from, but over the last few years Sullivan started to grow and the standards of restaurants grew with it making it the competition very stiff. This restaurant is right up there and is definitely a stand out. Yea!

A place with great food. But be prepared to pay for it. The atmosphere is somewhat austere, without much character as it is a converted Howard Johnson.

We had dinner here tonight. When we had to wait for tap water we had a feeling things were not going well. Sadly, it got worse. The waiter didn’t share any specials upon ordering but we heard him share with tables around us. Our drinks never came so weWent up to the bar to get them ourselves. An hour and a half later our entrees came. Not once did anyone during this waiting period stop to even see how we were doing. Had to send my pasta away because it was so bad. We finally complained and the bartender was very apologetic and comped our meal. She clearly knew that there were major issues here. We won’t come back nor will we frequent any other Foster Supply Group locations as this is our second horrible experience. Twice is Enough.

Terrible Caesar salad. The recipe called for one clove of garlic rubbed on the bowl and discarded. She used 1/4 cup of some preminced, jarred garlic. Ghastly! I ordered zuppa de pesce… translates to fish soup. Zuppa means soup. Pesce is fish. It was pasta with shrimp. Need I say more.

There were 4 orders of chicken parm and the pasta was cold on all of them. The steak was cooked to perfection and very delicious.

I’d say this is the best and find dining that Sullivan County has. Absolutely love the chef and the staff. The entrées are done to perfection as is everything in the restaurant. Atmosphere is elegant and au courant. My favorite go to for an excellent meal, and evening out.

One of the better Italian restaurants in this area. Excellent service. Food is of good quality but grossly overpriced. $27 for pasta with spinach and a few squares of prosciutto. Come on. $18 for a cocktail. No entrees with shrimp. Ridiculous!

OMG . I have not had food taste so clean and delicious in a long time. I ordered the Salmon with pesto sauce, asparagus, and squash. The Salmon was so moist, I requested the Chefs cook tips . The pesto was not overpowering the dish. It was great. I also ordered the beet salad with goat cheese, pine nuts, and cucumbers. Everything was finely chopped. Mmmuah! And Calamari. The bartender was ?, she makes the best drinks. We order the Godfather and Coconut. Mmmmm ?

Little italian spot in Liberty NY with some of the best italian dishes in the area. Actually been here a few times and this place doesn't disappoint. The service is great, from the hostess down to the bussers. Everyone is smiling and helpful. The food is out of this world, always tastes fresh....speaking of fresh. Want something cool when you go here? Order a Caesar salad, trust your Gingie Bearded friend on this one, I won't ruin it but you will be amazed.

We had a lovely time. Our server Julian was wonderful, along with the rest of the staff. We ordered the caesar salad which was prepared table side for a nice added touch, clams oreganata, and two entrees off the specials menu. Everything came out great! Thanks for a great evening.

From the hostess to the waitress, bartender and chef this restaurant is amazing! I am so happy to have found this gem.The food was not only amazing ,best in the Greene County truly, but the portions are beyond generous and the meals come with a beautiful salad and delicious rolls which is unusual these days. Thank you for the wonderful evening!
