We were looking for somewhere to grab dinner while traveling. Wife found Star online and it looked like a good spot. Please don’t take this the wrong way; the onion rings were VERY GOOD, and that was the worst part of our meal. Buffalo wings were awesome (but get there early because we heard they sell out quickly). Our burgers were great, and the sweet potato fries were the best we’ve ever had. Our waitress/bartender was very attentive but not overbearing. It’s definitely a “locals” kinda place, but travelers (like us) are made to feel like locals.

This place has really great food consistently. We make a point of coming here almost every time we're in the area.Burgers and empanadas are unreal. I've had a couple of the soups which were great too. Really nice owner or manager (not sure which) and very fair pricing. Couple beers and food for a family of four for under $50. Good luck doing that in many places these days!

Amazing food! Star Bar never disappoints their Thai chicken sliders are my personal preference but I have have to pick the best dish it would be the potato salad. Drinks are extraordinary, this is where my love for Armaretto Sour was born.

I'm not sure what took us so long to try this place. The kids couldn't have been happier with the fried chicken. I've never seen them finish so much food. Our burgers were just as tasty, and they beer was nice and cold. It's a small hometown place that should be discovered by all in the area.

The food was absolutely fantastic! In house made empanadas...incredible. Classic cheeseburger was cooked perfectly, came with choice of onion rings or fries. Also a little cup of the best potato salad I've ever eaten. Next time I visit upstate N.Y. from San Francisco I am coming back!!!

Came here for a quick dinner and drink when passing through. Food was above and beyond what I expected at a local bar. Service was attentive and the atmosphere was very happy.

The empanadas are so yummy- and the fried pickles are even better - I order from there atleast twice a week and I have never been disappointed
