We went to Maliblue on 9/2 because Raynor's Chicken was there. We had a 6:15 reservation for an outdoor table . Unfortunately, we were told there were no outdoor tables when we got there and were told we would need to go on a waitlist. We should have known at that point that we should leave. When we finally sat, we immediately placed our order. We knew this was the best thing to do because the restaurant was packed After an hour of waiting for our food, at 7:30 pm, we left. Sadly, our waitress disappeared and never came back and attempts to get her were met with being told by other wait staff that they would get her in 5 minutes. Very sad indeed.
This was my first time ordering from here, The food is OK. I wish I could say that about the service, food took way longer to come to my cabana then they said it would, and half of my order was missing. When I called them back, all they said was sorry we’re closed, We’ll see if you we can get you a refund. The food like I said is fine, but the service is slow, and unreliable

Ordered RaayNors special- Southern fried chicken It was delicious>> crispy and moist. Side dishes were delicious too. We had a very nice waiter who tried very hard but they were very understaffed. Took awhile to clear table, and to order dessert. Would definitely recommend.
8/23/24 We had a wonderful meal here today, the food was excellent, our waitress was great, the place was clean. We sat inside, rather than on their patio. The restaurant had a bright, well lit, modern beachy feel that made it easy to relax and enjoy our time there. The manager stopped and chatted with us for a bit, which was really so nice if him.
We enjoyed the annual "pop up restaurant" featuring "Raay'Nors Chicken." It was delicious!!! For us, it was a nostalgic trip to the past, a wonderful food memory we got to enjoy again. (Years ago, we often ate at Raay'Nors when they were on Sunrise Highway in Baldwin).
Well worth the trip to the beach, I hope you try this restaurant. :)

This is a restaurant at a beach cabana/pool complex, probably good for lunch if you are having a beach day. Went therefor dinner, not knowing better. Service was quick and efficient and wait staff were very nice and accommodating. Chair was very uncomfortable to sit. Food mediocre. Lots of kids and very noisy. Had blackened swordfish sandwich that tasted like cardboard. Would not return.
An absolutely HORRIBLE experience. We waited 90 minutes for our food. It was so bad that they comped us a pitcher of sangria. Nice gesture but we went to the restaurant to eat, not drink. Teenage staff doing their best but completely overwhelmed. Don't go, the food wasn't worth it.
I made a reservation for an outside table and when we got there they informed us that they don't take reservations for outside tables. It took at least an hour to get us the table we reserved. Servers were so sweet and food was good. Music was amazing.
Food is mostly diner type French fries and burgers or sandwiches but the restaurant is nice and very clean. Service is very attentive. If you want some food before leaving the beach it's a great option.
It was a pop-up Raay-Nor's Famous Chicken for a 2 week period. The food was great, I had chicken pot pie and many, many beers. The food was good, it was hot and the service was great.

Chicken was good, however I was served 3 backs and a leg. The backs had no meat only batter. It was a shame since the leg was very good. Husband had thigh, leg, breast and a back. I thought people made soup out if chicken backs, I was mistaken. Next time i will order something else. However the salad dressing was fantastic!

My outdoor reservation was not honored, and I was put on a first come first serve list for outdoor seating. This seemed to be a problem with the open table computer software program and not the restaurant. The host was supposed to let me know when my table outdoors became available and I never received such a call after about an hour of waiting. We did eventually eat the meal outdoors, but the lighting was woefully insufficient to see what we were eating. The waitress never explained what were the three mystery condiments we were given.
The nicely varied menu on Open Table was completely different from the menu presented at the restaurant. There were few choices of very bad food. On top of that there was music playing at Bar Mitzvah level. Had to lip read which I generally misinterpret. Our server was excellent.
Won't return here for Raaynors' events in future. Chicken dry and two of us had "stomach problems" the next day! In fact everything was dried out. The corn biscuits and the other gross one. Needs to ask for butter, salt and pepper to make it taste better, which took time and allowed our food to get cold. Ugh! To all of it!
Parking: We paid $10 per car for parking when we were invited to a party at the restaurant for dinner. Wish the parking was included.

Not what I expected. Pool club with a basic fair restaurant. No Frills. Outside dining yet no ocean/beach view. Disappointing.Food okay. Friday night live music helped.
