So yummy. Virtual service only, no humans haha. Hidden little restaurant that's got delicious food. Highly recommended the crispy duck!

Ordered food from uber eats & they didn't bring 1 thing on the receipt that I paid for, switched a meal that I ordered and paid for and sent me the wrong drink. I ended up eating what they sent being that it took over an hour to get to me & it was already cold. The food was flavorless and bland. Never again

Really wanted to like this place since it had good reviews and we wanted a healthier meal. Not sure how it was before pandemic but they have a person on the computer screen to help you with your order. At first, I thought it was so cool, but then realized that not having a person to man the front is a totally bad idea. My friend and I both called in for our order and we were both sitting there for an hour waiting for our food. Apparently, the Asian lady was yelling at the computer screen saying "big problem, lots of big problem". We were concerned and asked about our food, but they assured us the food was coming out. The lady on the screen wfh so she knew nothing of what was going on in the kitchen. We ordered the fake general Tso chicken, mock duck noodle soup, and the fake roasting pork but I didn't realized half my order was missing. I called to get a refund. The general Tso chicken was nasty and tasted like a sponge and the mock duck was noodle soup was super bland. I've been to vegan places before and have definitely tasted better quality food compared to this place. Definitely not returning. P.S. please put away your cash register. I feel like this place might get robbed one day despite all the cameras they have in the restaurant.

TLDR: The perfect place to get your hands on affordable vegan food with large portions! The owner is Buddhist which means there are certain aromatics like onions and garlic that they do not use in their cooking - I promise you won't even miss it in your food! They also have days where they do 50% off their food and their portions are huge! My favorite things to get are their hot and sour soup, eggplant with sweet and sour sauce, braised veg meat on rice, Singaporean mei fun, pineapple fried rice, and mapo tofu. I've tried pretty much the entire menu and I love that the food is always flavorful and (though sometimes can be a little oily) won't make you feel terrible after eating it! The owner is extremely sweet and is running the restaurant in hopes to expose more people to vegan food. Check out my foodsta @chiuventure for a closer look and more details of my dining experience here as well as other establishments in NYC and around the world!

Wow. Doesn't look like much when you come in. A little Confusing because the hostess is on camera... working from home maybe lol. Went with two hungry vegans after a long day moving furniture, we ordered a bunch of dishes and all were great. If you are a hot sauce girl don't settle for the packets they have out, ask for chili oil, really amazing flavor of their home made version . We ate in. Hope to be in the area again, to try the rest of their Menu. Every vegan protein item we ordered had a different texture, and veg were fresh . Yum. Reasonably priced, street parking was not a problem and they had a clean restroom.

Fantastic all vegan foods! Asian fusion, fast and delicious grub to be had here folks. They have several different proteins and various styles to try them. Vegetables were also fresh. Combo platter was a fav!

I ordered curry noodles, cedar sauce with tofu and BBQ vegetarian roast pork. The price is reasonable. They gave a lot of food but not much taste. The roast pork was very thin and hard in small pieces. I had better vegetarian food in Chinatown.

I ordered through Uber Eats after reading the reviews on Yelp. I had the fried oyster mushrooms and took a chance at the stew mushroom with triple sauce dish as well as steamed dumplings. The fried mushrooms were not very good. They were seasoned well, but didnt travel well-- they werent crispy and the breading was pretty much seperate from the mushroom and the mushrooms were very gummy and chewy. The triple mushroom dish wasn't bad, it was tasty and the serving was huge, but i wouldnt order it again. The dumplings were good. It would be nice if they shared the ingredients or how the food is prepared on their menu so you have a better under of what's to come. I'd say give it a chance.

I've been coming here for years and always try to eat here because I'm vegan and feel it's important to support vegan establishments and I've always really liked the place and the owner is really very friendly and comes across as really ethical. However, the time before last that we were here, we noticed a partial case of Arizona iced tea on the floor that contained honey in it. We pointed out that honey isn't vegan, and the owner removed the bottles to the back room, presumably to investigate. The next time we came, weeks later, the bottles of tea with honey had returned. This is rather disappointing for a place that calls itself vegan, and I don't understand what the reasoning could be. It's not like they don't know about the honey and it's not like alternate vegan iced teas don't exist. I can only hope that the rest of the food actually is vegan and no other animal ingredients sneak in in the same manner.

Food: Delicious, Innovative, and, of course, vegan. I've ordered from Amitabha four or five times, so far. The dishes that I and my family have sampled so far were delicious! None of the dishes we've sampled have disappointed. Some of my recommendations, based upon what I and my family have tried so far: 1. Sesame Vege Beef: better than a similar actual beef dish from a traditional Chinese restaurant 2. Crispy Vege Duck: I haven't tried it yet, but my family loves it. 3. Curry Noodle Soup: A meal in itself. It comes in two separate containers: one for a rich curry broth and one for well-chosen veggies and noodles. Delicious and filling. I'm addicted to this "soup", which is actually a meal. 4. Pumpkin and Fresh Mushroom Soup: I'd rate this as very good. It's a bit expensive for the large size, but, other than that, I'd certainly recommend it. 5. Barbecued Vege Roast Pork. I just tried this today. It was good - perhaps not as good as actual barbecued boneless spare ribs, but I will definitely order this again and I'll know that I'm not harming an animal by doing so. Just one caveat - some of the dishes are rather sweet, so diabetics should be careful when making their choices from this wonderful restaurant, as they should from any restaurant. To some up: this restaurant is a jewel and we're lucky to have discovered it

We were working across the street and were so excited to have a vegetarian place nearby. It was really good, we had a few dishes to share for lunch and came back to get sushi and soup for dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed everything. Also the owner is super nice and very accommodating. The service was great too. Going back there today as we are here again.

Excellent place. Try the duck. It's better than real duck in my opinion and I'm not vegan. All their vegetable dishes are great. Good portions as well. Very innovative way of interacting with virtual host and paying for orders. Different but much needed during these Covid times.

Great friendly place. Food was very solid, and came out fairly quickly. It was well portioned, so we had leftovers, and the price was tough to beat for that size and quality of food.

Ordered through Uber eats, 2 orders of the Seasame Beef, and Pork Lo Mein. Portion sizes are very generous, one meal can really be split between two people. Highly disappointed with the Seasame beef if that's what I even received. The receipt from the restaurant said cripsy chicken. Not sure these are the same items. It didn't look anything like the picture. Very large pieces of seitan and it was very doughy. By the time it arrived to my house it was very soggy nothing crispy about it, not at all enjoyable. The sauce was put on the side and no sesame seeds were included. A waste of $36 dollars (prices higher on Uber eats than in the store) the Lo mein was good though. I believe this place has promise but I was disappointed with this order.
