What a great restaurant! I am in town for work and really wanted an authentic Italian meal. I am picky being Italian myself! We were greeted right away and pretty sure it was the owner who welcomed us and took us to the table. He went over the specials and was just very friendly and sweet! I got the veal parm and my god, it was amazing! It was tender, just like it should be. The sauce was excellent as well and was impressed that the food wasn't oily at all. Definitely a great restaurant!

What a nice place. I live in bayside and we went for a belated birthday dinner. Salads were fresh and good and the food was very good. The servers and owner were sooo nice. Just a very good and peaceful experience.

Had the prawns over linguine... magnificent wife had calamari...fresh made , tender and delicious.Owner Marcello couldn't have been more solicitous to our every need... one of the best Italian restaurants I've eaten in... better food and service then the better known El Bacco down the block, Highly recommended

It started out wonderful, Marcello and the staff were very friendly and accommodating,, up to the moment when my wife's plate came out, her lasanga dish was half frozen, unbelievable. But we got passed that, then the Cake, I brought in a strawberry shortcake for my mom's, 84th birthday, with 2 chocolate covered strawberries on top that I paid extra for at the Bakery, the cake comes out, marcehello, sings for mom, the slices come out for everyone, and I am looking for those special strawberries for mama. But there not there, I go to Marchello, where are my 2 chocolate covered strawberries, his reply, Sorry, I gave them to the Chef to eat OMG. I lost my mind, later he comes to me, and says, oh it's No big deal. How dare he do that, he ruined my moms birthday. I never have been in a place that would do that, I paid my bill in full, in cash, and still left a generous tip. I will never eat there again, and I hope whoever reads this review, will think twice about patronizing this establishment.

The food is so fresh. The eggplant was AMAZING. Honestly some of the best Italian food I ever had. Customer service was amazing too. A MUST GO TOO!

The owner really treats you like family and wants you to feel like you're eating at home. It was our first time there and we weren't too sure what to order. The owner asked us what we liked to eat and made some suggestions and practically ordered for us!- Calamari- came out so fast! nice and crispy - Lasagna- The pasta to sauce ratio was a bit off (4-5 layers of pasta to 1 layer of sauce). The meat sauce was very generous with the meat and had more meat than any restaurant i've seen - Linguine alla veneta- the owner made this a white sauce for me since I don't like white sauce! Generous portion of shrimp and garlic

If I could I would give them ZERO stars horrible customer service ; $125 gift card down the drain bc it was issued 9/8/21 I’m sorry we live in a crazy time now and you would think they would honor it!!!! Unbelievably disgusted
