I have been coming to slims for the past 5 years and every time it does not disappoint. The owner is an absolute gentleman and always makes a great bagel. If I could give slims 10 stars I would !

Got an egg sandwich with ham.. almost threw up .. threw that out. Also got a sesame bagel with scallion cream cheese . The spread is great the bagel tastes like it’s 2 days old n hard as a rock… def not going back if you paid me too.

I recently had a disappointing experience at Slim’s Bagels. I ordered a Tuna salad and an Egg Salad, but the staff tried to overcharge me and did not weigh both the Tuna and Egg Salad. When I bought this to their attention, I received a less-than-friendly attitude. It’s unfortunate that my visit was marred by this incident. I hope they can improve their customer service and ensure that such issues don’t happen again in the future.

Since 1932? How's that possible? Service should be top notch after almost a century! You would think a place literally called "Slims Hot Bagels" would actually serve hot bagels, all day. Not at all. The bagel was actually colder than the lady at the counter serving it to my daughter, with no smile or any sign of kindness, whatsoever. She actually told us that they turn the toaster off at 3pm, which is absolutely unheard of, especiallyat a place laughably boasting about hot bagels. Even cornerstore delis keep their grill and toasters running all day. That's not even the kicker, though. It was only 2pm (not 3pm turn off the toaster hour).... and the dump is called HOT BAGELS?. That's like naming a place Toys R US, only to walk in and find library books and toothpicks. Never again! I wouldn't recommend this place either. Paid over $3 for a cold bagel with cream cheese and a large side of poor customer service. This is NYC. Plenty of other better options, where you also feel welcomed. Remember, you need the customer. We don't need you! Take notes.... and at least, flash a friendly smile if it won't hurt you.

Don't pay attention to any bad 1 star reviews. I have been going to this establishment for over 7 years now. Never had a stale bagel, was always treated nicely by staff and ALWAYS had fresh salmon and extremely tasty bagels and pastries. They are an amazing bagel place. You cannot complain about prices anywhere/anymore- everyone is paying more everywhere because of the current economy!. Keep up the good work guys!!!!!!
How do you charge someone 7$! For a small coffee with bagel and butter you would pay the same for a place that actually sells eggs bacon or sausage outrageous

I’ve never had worse bagels. In fact it’s very hard to make a bad bagel but this place does. They have no taste and have the consistency of cardboard. People behind the counters are also completely clueless. Not sure how this place stays in business.

This is my go to place for bagels when I’m visiting my family. I bring their “dozen” home so I can have good bagels. This place has been here for as long as I can remember. Consistent, clean and quickly served. Get there early if you want specialty flavors as they do sell out. That’s how good they are!

I normally don't post bad reviews but I was compelled to write one for this establishment. There was a reason why I don't spend my money here and today proved me to never step foot in there again. At 7AM, how could they be out of plain bagels? And be asked to wait 15 minutes for it to be ready? People have to get to work. This is a poor reflection on the baker or management running this place.
