Everything was really great, but I'm so sad because my ABSOLUTELY FAVE MEST CHOICE IS DISCONTINUED.
I was so looking forward to roast pork (shaved) for a sub today but when we arrived, we were informed that they no longer carried it for to an issue with the distributor, Boar's Head meats. It was the only place in town to get this and such an experience. It will be missed.

Clean and friendly environment with tasty food. We frequent the various other locations but this is our favorite. My son ordered 1/2 salami sandwich and a chicken noodle soup. I had a whole ham + cheese sandwich. Ingredients were fresh and filling. Staff was attentive and welcoming.

As a dog owner, I always call ahead to make sure a restaurant or business is dog friendly before I bring my puppy along. I did this with Brooklyn pickle in the spring and was happily encouraged to bring my pooch. Since then, she has become a regular there like me.
Yesterday, however while ordering my sandwich at the Buckley location, a young man with long hair identifying himself as the manager went out of his way to tell me I couldn’t have my dog in there. Strangely, he has cashed me out before when I’ve had my dog with me - I mentioned that to him to receive only a blank stare.
This young man’s snide and rude demeanor was enough to send me walking out the door. I called another Brooklyn pickle location and they apologized and welcomed me there with my dog anytime.
The lack of consistency is unfortunate and as a result of this experience, I will no longer give my business to Brooklyn Pickle. Treating a regular customer so poorly as a result of YOUR misinformation is beyond unacceptable. I requested a call from the owner to discuss.

It is a shame- I have been going to the Brooklyn Pickle since the 80”s in Fairmont. The past few times I have tried to get a decent meal from Brooklyn Pickle North I have had both mine and my husband’s sandwiches not made at all how we ordered them and walked in to find both the customer service and the cash person on their phones texting and taking 30- 60 seconds to even look up and notice me. Too bad - tried 3 times to continue doing business with Brooklyn Pickle but they have fallen to such a low. Very unfortunate.
