I went to the Bull & Bear on Rt 57 in Liverpool recently to just check it out as I heard good things about it. I only did a pick up order but they treated me like I was actually dining in. Waitresses were so friendly and they asked me right away what I was they could help me with. I got my order and they did it exactly how I asked. (Picky roommate so had to adjust a few things on the items) But the food was good portion for the price and did not disappoint on taste. If you are looking for a good place to eat in Liverpool I recommend this place highly.

Bull and Bear for me is like old reliable nowadays. Long time consumer of Bull and Bear food and likely forever going back. Appetizers are always great. Dinner is delicious with a good selection of burgers, wraps, and salads. And they have a lot of sides to choose from and we've never been disappointed. Everything remains fairly priced and they have been transparent about pandemic pricing and challenges. Staff has always been kind and courteous with service being prompt. The atmosphere is chill, they have a bar inside and outdoor seating options weather permitting.

Pretty good food. Love the rotating burger option. The staff are always super friendly. The only thing I would change is the prices are a little high compared to what you order at similar places.

Service took forever, poutine tasted like cat food, asked for burger medium rare and got it extra well done, shrimp tasted like bland rubber. I'd stick with chicken tenders and fries, can't mess that up.

Freezing cold food and atmosphere. Took very long to get waited on and served, it was not very busy. A brisket sandwich should never be cold!

We had not been here in a while and were really surprised at the quality of the food. My wife ordered the Fiesta Salad. She said it was super-fresh with crispy lettuce and vegetables, and the chicken was very tasty. I ordered the Smothered Brisket Sandwich, which was very savory. It came on a plump Brioche roll with onions. As a side, I had an order of the Parmesan Garlic Fries, which were delicious. The highlight of the meal was the Number 5 Peanut Butter Pie, a concoction of homemade peanut butter and chocolate graham-cracker amazingness. Remicade was an absolutely terrific waitress! She knew the menu and made some great recommendations. She was a very enthusiastic ambassador for the restaurant. Bill with one during and tip came to $60, a bargain when you consider how tasty the food was.

I used to love this place. Went there last night and my French Fries in my poutine was under cook/raw. And management didn't even stop by to wonder why I didn't want a replacement meal. Great management.

Had a pretty good meal in Liverpool left the waitress a $10 tip and wow she took it upon herself to also add another $15 tip to my credit cards bill after I left. Called and spoke to the manager and in my opinion it was not a big deal so apparently they do that quite often so check your statements they are ripping people off

Food was good but I have to tell you when I received my bill I was surprised to see a "non-cash adjustment" of 3% my server didn't even know how I was paying - when I asked about the charge she says they pass along the fee from the bank. I used a Debit card and my bank doesn't charge a fee - kinda crazy I thought or a way for Bull n Bear to make up for a year of slow business. I wish next time my server would a least ask me how I was paying.

I never and mean NEVER have given a bad review before but this manager is a j**** Our server was sweet and nice but what a pain she works for. They have a big sign out front that says service is bad because of the nation wide worker shortage, but I have a feeling he treats his workers the same as he treat his customers. Like crap. The food used to be great but that was all under the last manager. Where theirs smoke theirs fire. And this is a dumpster fire.

Never. Again. The manager was so incredibly rude. Don't waste your money. First of all, when you walk in the door you are warned with a sign stating there is a nationwide server shortage. I should have turned around there. Can't keep regular wait staff. I'm guessing the manager has a "little" something to do with that. We used to be regulars at this place. New manager has clearly ruined the feel. Too bad. Can't wait to see what restaurant moves into this building next.

My oldest son and is buddy said they wanted burgers for lunch as we were driving through Liverpool, NY today and I knew exactly where to go.....The Bull n Bear on Rte. 57. I got the Vermonter with the works and it was ridiculously delicious! My son got the burger topped with pulled pork and his buddy got the Big Cheese. Both of them looked so good and the boys said they were, in their words, Redonkulously good! Also, I got the Sweets w/ maple butter, which are friggin amazing and I definitely recommend a little of the cornbread because it is so fresh and the maple butter compliments it perfectly. If I lived in Liverpool, East Syracuse, or Fayetteville, I would make this a weekly stop for sure! Bring the next Bull n Bear to Camillus! Hahahaha!

I was craving a juicy hamburg, so I ordered take-out at Bull & Bear. I added the cinnamon pretzel sticks with cream cheese frosting. Everything was delicious! I will definitely be back.

Placed an order over the phone to go. They told me to arrive an hour later at 7:00. Waited for over 45 minutes after I arrived at the time they designated. Still have not received food, nor has the hostess replied to my inquiry as to how much longer. Just keeps walking past me. A popular restaurant should not be caught off guard on a Friday night at dinner time. Not so much as a sorry for the delay! I'll never go back.
