I usually love coming here but last night had a bad experience. The “bouncer” had such an attitude with my friend and I, he never cracks a smile or gives a welcoming aura. I ordered 2 drinks and closed my tab and left a tip. I decided I wanted to buy a few more and then closed my tab again but this time without leaving tip because honestly the service was super slow and drinks did not taste that great. Here’s the kicker, the bartender then personally approached me in front of my friends/family and ASKED ME WHY I DIDNT TIP. LOL!!!! The blonde bartender honestly u suck girl and I tipped her anyway after she asked me why even though she didn’t really deserve it. I felt pity for her but then after I realized I should’ve stood my ground. I’ll never feel comfortable in this place again because of that weird experience.

A little-frills bar in Liverpool with friendly, professional, accommodating staff, a range of beer and other drinks, and some good bar food. I've enjoyed the pizza, fries, and onion rings, as I don't eat meat, and all have them been solid, especially the fries. It is a good space.

Nicely kept, building from the late 1800's the bar atmosphere is somewhat unique and the building has an interesting back story. Arrests were made but the money was never found. Good service and variety.
