We called weeks in advance as we were having Friendsgiving with 25 people to make sure they were capable of hosting all of us so we made a reservation for 25 people as they said it was no problem at all!! Well we start showing up they had a spot reserved for 16 people we told them this isn’t enough they said ok we will try and figure out and grant you the back room was empty and they had set it up for a party for the following evening! The place was extremely busy which was fine if they had taken care of our reservation but they did not and seemed to be annoyed they had to find extra tables and chairs as part of our party was standing and waiting!! Again the back room was available instead squeezed us in the corner by the door where we were cramped together hard to move around! Waitress was pleasant but very overwhelmed we had to go get our drinks as she couldn’t keep Up and no one was helping her other than to bring food out when it was ready! Part of us got our food where the rest did not til most of us were already done eating and some were leaving before others even got their food!! The food was really good but the experience was not good at all for an event that was suppose to be special for all of us to get together! We won’t be back

I would like to know the last time the health department was here to do an inspection? Went there with friends to watch the SU & Yankee game for food & drinks. No sooner after sitting down at the bar & ordering drinks, we saw a few mice running around inside the joint & in the back in the banquet room where they were having a gathering. Yup, no food for us after that & we all cashed out & left. This place literally lost out on a minimum $300+ combined bill from us....

Food is pretty good when they do it right, but most of the time I order wings to go and specifically ask for extra crispy, I get home and they’re barely cooked or undercooked and chewy. Also barely any sauce on my most recent order. Probably going to find a new wing spot.

Whenever I order takeout it stinks, Crispy Chicken sandwich was so over done i couldn’t even eat it, i also use to order the chicken with artichoke, spinach with mashed potatoes and there was hardly anything in the to go container!!!

Wings were definitely excellent and a good deal on Mondays.
My family and I ,11 of us had dinner there Wednesday and the food was delicious! Everyone was very happy with there orders. But above all our waitress Diane was amazing! She didn’t make one mistake, was quick with refills and anything else we needed! When we come back, which we will I hope we’re lucky enough to have her!
Enjoyed a special family event here recently. Food was good and pleasant staffing.

Home Team Pub is hands down one of the best hidden gems in the Liverpool/Syracuse area. From the outside, you’d never guess how spacious and inviting this place really is, but once you step in, it completely opens up into a large, vibrant space filled with Syracuse Orangemen pride and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
As big SU fans, we immediately loved the decor. Orange and blue accents, memorabilia, and team spirit fill the space without being over the top. It’s got a sports bar feel but still manages to be cozy and family-friendly.
One of the coolest features is the sectioned-off dart area – perfect for a casual game night with friends. It’s tucked just off the bar, which is stocked and lively without ever feeling overcrowded. Whether you're coming in to catch a game or just to grab dinner, there’s a space that fits your vibe.
Now onto the food – absolutely stellar. We had the pot roast (melt-in-your-mouth tender and full of rich flavor), the chicken riggies (perfectly creamy with the right kick of spice), and a sampling of their specialty chicken wings. The wings were some of the best we’ve had—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and loaded with flavor. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve, and it shows in every bite.
Everything was served piping hot and just the way we ordered it, which brings me to the staff – they were exceptional. Super friendly, always smiling, and incredibly attentive. Our drinks were never empty, the food came out quickly, and they checked in just the right amount. That kind of service goes a long way these days, and they nailed it.
Also worth mentioning: the bathrooms. Clean, updated, and actually stylish – which is not something you often get at sports bars or pubs. It’s just one more detail that shows how well this place is run.
All in all, we had a fantastic experience at Home Team Pub. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this spot is 100% worth checking out. Great food, great service, awesome vibe – we’ll definitely be back!
