⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars – A Hidden Gem in Liverpool!
Home Team Pub is hands down one of the best hidden gems in the Liverpool/Syracuse area. From the outside, you’d never guess how spacious and inviting this place really is, but once you step in, it completely opens up into a large, vibrant space filled with Syracuse Orangemen pride and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
As big SU fans, we immediately loved the decor. Orange and blue accents, memorabilia, and team spirit fill the space without being over the top. It’s got a sports bar feel but still manages to be cozy and family-friendly.
One of the coolest features is the sectioned-off dart area – perfect for a casual game night with friends. It’s tucked just off the bar, which is stocked and lively without ever feeling overcrowded. Whether you're coming in to catch a game or just to grab dinner, there’s a space that fits your vibe.
Now onto the food – absolutely stellar. We had the pot roast (melt-in-your-mouth tender and full of rich flavor), the chicken riggies (perfectly creamy with the right kick of spice), and a sampling of their specialty chicken wings. The wings were some of the best we’ve had—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and loaded with flavor. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve, and it shows in every bite.
Everything was served piping hot and just the way we ordered it, which brings me to the staff – they were exceptional. Super friendly, always smiling, and incredibly attentive. Our drinks were never empty, the food came out quickly, and they checked in just the right amount. That kind of service goes a long way these days, and they nailed it.
Also worth mentioning: the bathrooms. Clean, updated, and actually stylish – which is not something you often get at sports bars or pubs. It’s just one more detail that shows how well this place is run.
All in all, we had a fantastic experience at Home Team Pub. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this spot is 100% worth checking out. Great food, great service, awesome vibe – we’ll definitely be back!

Love the pot roast sandwich, I always get extra au jus- the regular amount is def not enough to dunk each bite. This is my favorite and I order it everytime!!

My son and I stopped by while here for a baseball tournament. The hosress and waitress were extremely friendly, quick to respond and were a delight to have. Plent of room and good decor for a sports tavern. The atmosphere was slightly lacking when a sports tavern would have only local channels and could only view what was on standard television channels.
Our biggest disappointment was the food. The burger I received was bland and dry. It didn't seem to have any seasoning at all. My son had a Nashville Chicken Sandwich and he could only have one bite. He said the frozen patties from a grocery store taste better. Only the French fries and tater tots were good.
We were planning on bringing his entire team the next day, but there's zero chance of that happening after the food.

Came here for a nice dinner, we had it a few weeks back & it was great so we were really excited for tonight. Little did we know, it wouldn’t be the same. The nachos had way too much toppings, the chips were all soggy we had to dig through them to get good ones.
There was a bug in the nachos and they didn’t even offer to take it off the bill so we will probably never eat there again
