Dinner came out wrong so they took it back but my husband got his food. By the time the second plate came out he was done and it looked like some of the same food re-used. Cold and sloppy. We sent it back but c'mon man what a horrible experience even tho they didn't charge us for that dinner. Both bartender and server were less than caring. Kinda felt like we were a bother.

I had called ahead to make reservations for 2 for a Thursday evening but when we showed up at the restaurant, there was a sign for patrons to seat themselves and no host/hostess in sight. We sat down and a waitress quickly came over to take drink orders. (I explained we had reservations just so they didn't think we bailed on them.) I hadn't been to this restaurant in many years and it looked different than I remembered but the atmosphere was warm and casual. The menu was extensive and we found the sheet of folded paper containing the specials on our own - the waitress never mentioned it. We ordered the salmon cakes appetizer for starters and then I ordered a special of sirloin tips with noodles that sounded good on this rainy evening. My friend ordered the shrimp skewers with risoto. I'm not a fan of crab cakes so I wasn't going to even try the salmon cakes but I'm glad I did. They were delicious and tasty with a slight crunch from the panko. The cakes were accompanied by a small container of creamy dill sauce which had just the right amount of dill as to not overpower the cakes. My friend devoured his shrimp and had a few bites of the risotto. He wasn't expecting a tomato risotto but he still took the leftovers home for later. I have to be honest that when the waitress set my dish of sirloin tips and noodles down on the table, it reminded me of a dog bowl with food in it. Heck, it even sort of looked like dog food. However, one bite of this dish made me fall in love and shamefully regret the aforementioned comparison. The gravy was a perfect consistency and the beef was fall apart tender. The noodles were also cooked perfectly - not too hard and not too mushy. There was also plenty to take home for lunch the next day. The restaurant wasn't as I'd remembered it so long ago but I had a new found infatuation for it, and will return again soon!

My husband and I had a great experience at the Retreat this evening. The warm bread with garlic butter was delicious. The French Onion soup was good with nicely browned cheese. Salads were fresh, cold and crisp. I had the Imperial Grouper with asparagus and a baked potato. Ample portion and delicious. My husband had the prime rib which was cooked to his liking, although a little fatty, but tender. However, the best part of our outing was Sam, our waitress. She was very personable, funny, knowledgeable and efficient without making us feel rushed. She is definitely one of the best waitresses we ever had.

Dined outside tonight & was disappointed. The wait staff was nice but inattentive. After delivery of the food, server never came back except to leave the bill. I ordered vegetable quesadillas - which I've had before & loved them. Tonight was different. It looked as though the plate had been dropped & the entree scooped back on. The quesadillas weren't as they'd been in the past. Our server only gave us each a fork, I really needed a knife. The quesadillas were cold & it felt as though some of the vegetables had just been thawed. The experience wasn't what it has been in the past.

Awesome food!!! Wraps were great and all food going by looked awesome. Service was very slow because they were swamped, to be expected. Nice patio with live music as well.

The waitress charged my card for my party of 3 dinner THEN another unknown party of people's bill of $114. After i saw the charge on my bank notifications, I called them to speak with a manager. The lady who answered told me the manager would call me at 4pm. Still waiting for that call and for them to refund me the amount of some strangers meal. Not happy. Do not recommend!!!

Waitress was furious at us because she lost her pen. We did NOT steal it. Great Cobb salad. Loud inside. A panning should come with chips or fries for the price.

Food was good, prices were average. Atmosphere was pleasant on outside patio. Waiter could have been more attentive, checked back once but never offered to refill our drinks.
