The few times that I have been in Long Lake, a highlight of passing through is stopping to enjoy NY Deli Food at the Lakeside Knoshery. We had a small group that stopped here at the end of a multi day canoeing trip. What a nice reward and alternative to fast food or a chain.

Great pastrami, half filled me up but I ate the whole thing because it was to good to put in the fridge and eat as a leftover !!

Had the bagel and lox I've looked forward to! Delicious food.

Long wait but worth it for some good, NYC knosh. This guy knows what he's doing.

I was walking by and saw this place and stopped. It is a small place that reminds you of walking up and ordering ice cream, but they serve hot dogs, sandwiches, potato pancakes, and more! The owner was super friendly and took my order then calls you when it is ready, it was very good! There is a large tent cover with picnic tables under neath which is nice because the day I stopped it was raining. CASH ONLY

This little spot (hut) doesn’t look the part but the sandwiches are excellent. An added bonus is Captain Marty has his Long Lake Boat Tour depart from the sandwich hut. Trips are about 2 hrs and it was well worth the $40/adult. On our boat tour was a young couple from Poland with their small dog. Great company and Captain Marty is a hoot! Beautiful scenery and Marty’s knowledge. Perfect spot for a sandwich before or after the boat tour!

Marty makes the best NYC style deli food that you can have in the Adirondacks. Highly recommended and I'll be coming back for the potato pancakes with Cabot sour cream and homemade applesauce. If you're in the Long Lake area, it's a must. 5 Stars!
Food was sooo good when I go to sleep away camp I go there every year

I drove up to Long Lake from Old Forge one rainy day, specifically to go to this deli, but I couldn't find it! PLEASE put up some better signs. I drove through town twice looking for it, then settled for an alternative choice (but I REALLY wanted deli!).

Three stars for the view. Would like to have rated the food, but the establishment has never been open when I'm in Long Lake. I'm writing this on a Tuesday morning just after 9AM. Certainly not NYC deli hours!

Good bagels, almost like being in gmt NYC area. The whitefish salad bagel is worth the price!
