When I used to live in Nebraska, we had a chain called Freddy's, which advertised itself as "fast casual" instead of "fast food." The food quality was a step above your typical fast food joint, but not quite on the same level as an actual casual diner.
Burger Shack is another prime example of a fast casual establishment. The food here is way better than anything you'd get at a fast food restaurant. The place isn't too busy either (on weekdays, at least).

Cute spot to take the kids, booths have video game systems to keep them entertained. Wide selection of mix and match "build your owns", including ice cream and milkshakes. They serve tacos and salads too. There's a good amount of seating but it can get packed at times. Reservations not accepted.

Wings, burgers, fries, onion rings and the accompaniments were on point ( with the exception of the chipotle mayo sauce- it had way too much black pepper and the blue cheese sauce was very watery).
The dining area was clean and so was the bathroom.
The bonus was the old school video games at the table.
Overall, the experience and the company was very good.
Oh yeah. The staff was very nice and friendly too!

Best burger I've ever had. We've made this a weekly stable for dinner on a Sunday. Your not going go find a better burger for a better price. Wings are great as well. Love having the old Nintendo consoles at the table. Took my teen nephews and they loved it as well. The custom ice cream sandwiches are amazing too if you have space.
Parking: Free parking lot in rear of building. Kind of small but I always get a spot. Meter parking on side of building as well.
Kid-friendliness: Retro-Nintendo consoles with 2 remotes at every table on end.
Great place and terrific service. Atmosphere is creative and really comfortable. Food is great. I’ve ordered so many different things and always delicious. It’s a fun place to go. Everyone always loves it.

$4.50 for a hotdog I thought it would've been way better. Not worth it.. Burgers are good and I love the grilled chicken but they need to work on the hot dogs for sure. I had way better hot dogs for cheaper.
