It satisfied my cravings and tasted better than even the best Queens and LI trucks! I even tasted a few times my friends fried fish (whiting) and coconut shrimp! Both were good and the fish seemed to melt in your mouth! I wish they had a spot like this in my Bronx hood. Keep cooking and doing what you're doing! My favorite halal place around and I have tried many. Consistent, well-priced products with tender meat and flavorful sauces. Great selection of platter toppings that don't cost extra. I like the chicken platter the most.Just be careful when ordering towards closing; topping selection may be limited. In addition, they stop taking phone orders I believe one hour before closing (which is understandable--but just something to keep in mind!)Vegetarian options: They offer falafel over rice, fries, onion rings, etcParking: Limited metered parking (for those who don't know, you don't need to feed the meter between 6pm-6am or on Sundays / federal holidays).Parking is usually not an issue, but at busier times you may have to park further. Worst case, you can park in the lot behind the east-side Atlantic Avenue stores (when driving north from Halal Express, turn right, and you'll see the lot to your left), and it will be a couple minute walk from there.Kid-friendliness: This store is definitely an all-ages environment, and kids will have fun being able to see their platters be prepared (though they may need to be held up to be able to see as the counter isn't short)

I love the fries here so much. I get like 5 sauces with it and they’re just so amazing every time.It definitely takes a while to get it even if i’m the only person in the restaurant but it’s a lot faster if i call ahead so i do it a lot
