Warm and inviting Haitian restaurant which we don't have much of in Long Island. The food was delicious and the service was great as well. My cocktail was yummy yet strong! I also loved all the murals on the walls. I'll be going back for sure!

I recently had a disappointing experience at this restaurant on May 10th. I arrived late at night, was seated at a table, and received my food. However, just as I was eating, the waitress informed me that the table was reserved and I would need to vacate it when the reserved party arrived. I was confused and frustrated, especially since I had already been served and was in the middle of my meal. I decided to pay for my food and leave without finishing it, as I didn't want to deal with the inconvenience of being asked to move. The experience left a sour taste in my mouth, and I won't be returning to this place. That was my first time visiting it.

My husband and I went a few weeks ago and again on Valentines Day. The service, the food and the music were great! The live music here is outstanding!

I was really looking forward to celebrating, our beloved Marie Carmel Avin ! The service at Oulala Café & Lounge service was a complete letdown! It's frustrating when our own Haitian spots don't meet our expectations." wish they'd step up their game – we deserve better.! Unfortunately, this experience has led me to decide that I won't be visiting this place again! My usual choices were booked, leading me to explore other possibilities, which led me to this place! To provide specific feedback, we observed the following issues: not enough tables or chairs, wrinkle table cloth , plastic utensils, , no water on the tables, no soft drinks , no coffee, extremely limited soup, and cold patties. Given the $30 per person cost, (paid for 100 people / had food for 50 people ) we expected a much higher level of service and quality! 😡 Mireille Restaurant Mireille Laguerre Antilles Restaurant Lesles Pardo Nadège Boisson Pardo We've always been satisfied with your services and appreciate the professionalism you bring to every event. My family is serving! No servers ! 😡! Person helping as a bar tender! She quoted. “ I am just helping, they need a licensed bar tender “ 🤔

Since there is no 0 star so, I choose 1 star. I should have paid attention to some of the reviews. Not again. Nope not recommended to anyone.

We don't have a lot of sit down Haitian restaurants in LI so when we found out about this place we just had to give it a try. It's a very charming restaurant with a lot of traditional decor which was nice to see. Food was sooooo tasty! I went with a group of 6 so we ordered a lot of the items off of the menu and everything was a hit. Drinks were strong and tasty! We came last night and it was very empty for a Friday night, and the owner told us they didn't have any usual events planned for the weekend due to the holiday which was the cause for the slow down. They usually either have a live band or a DJ on the weekends and hear that it gets pretty lively into the evening. We will definitely make our way back for that

This establishment provided one of the worst dining experiences we've had. The food was overpriced, and it made my husband sick. The host, who was also the server and bartender, took our drink orders, and the pineapple juice tasted like water. We ordered the crab cakes and Bangin' Shrimp, but both were tasteless, to tiny crab cakes with the shrimp being greasy and cold.

For our entrée, we had the grilled salmon with mango sauce, accompanied by black rice and steamed vegetables. The salmon was soaked in a yellow, slimy sauce that was warm, indicating it had likely been microwaved. The rice was the only decent part of the meal. To top it all off, they added an automatic 18% gratuity, and the server didn’t even ask if we enjoyed our dinner. Overall, it was the worst dining experience we've had.
