Matt and the team at Taco Joes are awesome!!! My cousin took me here and I had thee best time ever, I loved the shrimp tacos with pineapple slaw!!! I will be back soon! Drinks were great too!!!

Stopped here last night with my fiancé & was majorly disappointed. Based on some of the other reviews, I believed this was a restaurant with servers, but when I arrived and requested a table for two, I was told by the host that it’s fully self-service and just pick any table. A bit like a chipotle. This isn’t my preference but for a casual bite, it’s no problem at all. My issue is that I was served RAW shrimp in my burrito. The first 2 shrimp in my burrito were okay but the rest were very undercooked… as in still slimy. So gross! Obviously I couldn’t finish it and thought maybe i’d try something else that’s a bit safer, like nachos. Just as I was considering this, a worker literally wheeled the dumpster can from the front to the back of a restaurant. My fiancé and I were seated in a booth & he squeezed past between our booth and a table with the nasty trash-dangerously close to our food and drinks. We left immediately after that. Poor service & bad food. Good drinks though, but that was the only positive in this experience.

I usually pass this place and i've never gone in, tonight I went in! I was served By Elvis and man that guy was great, especially his aura he asked me questions, and also recommended what he liked the most, everything was fresh. I got the burrito and it was worth the $13. Entire place was clean. They had a server( I believe) I didn't get his name but he looked young with short dreads, as soon as I finished my food he automatically took my plate and cleaned the table. Amazing cause I usually just do it myself, As I left the host also told us to have a good night and Elvis also told me to have a good night and he will see me again. I will definitely be returning, glad I came tonight 10/10.

the food here is really good... HOWEVER... there has been a mess with 'management' which is effecting customer's experience at joe's. the first time we went here, the food was great & our service is nice! although the were unable to serve any fountain drinks bc the machine was broken (isn't this a newer restaurant?) next time we come, we hear the cantina is closed because of "issues with management" (whatever that means)? so people lined up to get to go. a customer on line says they have tried to dine in a few times and this keeps happening. the employees have no answers other than management disruptions. we tried eating here at some point last week... tried calling the number on their website so we didn't waste our time driving there just for the cantina to be closed..... no answer... THREE TIMES....
they also DO NOT update their hours & ALWAYS CLOSE EARLIER THAN STATED. there is clearly poor management and poor communication skills going around this restaurant. i really hope they fix their issues because their food is good.

I really wanted to love this place, I even came here multiple times, writing mediocre experiences off to a “bad day.” My first issue is with cleanliness- on my way to the restroom, I saw cross contamination with an employee cleaning something with gloved hands, not taking them off, and directly touching food after. I mentioned my concern and it was brushed off. The majority of staff are young adults, which is great (fellow college student here!) except they don’t care about customer service whatsoever. I decided to try this place again… Their time online shows they are open until 10pm, and so, my mom and I drove over about 8:30. The doors were locked, but the majority of staff was inside, standing around. When we looked confused, the staff all ignored us. When we tried to let them know that the time online was wrong, they shrugged and rolled their eyes. When my mom tried asking them a question through the glass, and then turned around, they made fun of her hand motions with each other. We genuinely just wanted to know when they closed as to not make that mistake again. I totally understand being closed, but they were truly unkind and there was no need to be nasty. It’s disappointing to see people being genuinely rude towards customers.

When me and my partner originally came here the food was amazing, the customer service was great, and the drinks were worth the price! More recently the food has not been as good, some employees are not attentive and the drinks are not as good. The only thing that has made our experience enjoyable was our server Hailey, not only was she extremely attentive to all her tables, she was also very understanding and was the definition of customer service. when we expressed our frustrations about the food and drinks she was more than understanding and accommodating. originally i assumed she was a manager the way she ran the floor and ensured ALL tables were taken care of. Hailey not only was attentive but she went above and beyond to ensure the establishment was well kept, customers were enjoying their experience, and the staff was on task. Unlike the actual manager who seemed to be flirting with an employee. Shout out to Hailey for exhibiting true managerial integrity.
