I brought my wife and two of our friends to this restaurant and from the moment we arrived we were impressed with the overall look and atmosphere. The staff especially our server Theodora was pleasant and accommodating we didn't feel rushed or ignored. The food and drinks were the highlights of our visit. I ordered four “Bites” and each one was distinct in its presentation and taste. The lamb was to die for! I've never are lamb seasoned with that hint of what tasted like bbq jerk (hats off to the chef). I also had the mussels, calamari and ceviche which I loved. My wife's lychee Martini was so good she ordered two. We all agreed that this place is a keeper and we will definitely be back. Thanks for such a wonderful time. Irving D Jamaica NY
I loved this place! Everything was amazing, the food was excellent, the service was very good, drinks were amazing and the ambiance was great! I'll definitely go back again and again
This is my friend's group favorite birthday place. The food is great, the ambiance is great! The Dj is always on point. I do recommend making a reservation. Trust you won't be sorry, I've been there on 5 different occasions and I always have the same experience A GREAT TIME!!!
The restaurant was nice, the service was good and helpful. Appetizers were the highlight of the meal, it was downhill after that. Meals were bought out 15 minutes apart, so my partner got his meal and mine I needed to remind to bring out (ordered at the same time). Food was a little too salty for my taste (but that is a personal preference) dessert sounded good but was just very basic. Portion size was good. Side dishes were a little off, the Mac and cheese and sweet potato both had a sour taste (not spoiled, seemed to be a choice on the flavor) the Brussels sprouts had a good flavor but description said crunchy (they were not because they were in a lot of sauce). Lamb chips were very good, and hummus was also a highlight. Restaurant has potential to be really good, maybe it was an off night?
Came here for another birthday dinner. I had dreams of the Tomahawk and they did not disappoint. It was cooked to perfection along with lobster Mac, impeccably flavored brussel sprouts, garlic mash and spinach. If I had to choose a last supper this would be it.
The service was great they accommodated me with all of the information I missed during my reservation process and they didnt have to do that but they did and my 40th birthday was a success with their help i would recommend prime 39 over and over again. My waiter Ru was excellent
Our waitress was great. Food was good except some of it was cold. 2 at the table and 1 got food way b4 the other. We were halfway through the main course b4 we got the sides, it was like they were bringing out 1 dish at a time ?. Tables were very close to each other, no privacy, we could hear the conversation next to us and it was very noisy. The menu was very limited and a bit pricey, for some dishes. Presentation could be better. Overall it wasn't the very best experience, but I do like the black and white decore. I think it would be a better space for a bar, but too small for a restaurant. I would recommend you try it for yourself but, I wouldn't go back.
I had a reservation for 7:45 for a booth..I arrived on time, I did not get what I was reserved, I was told I had to sit at the bar or wait 2 hours for a seat with table..I was very disappointed with this, there's alot more to this but ill stop there
The waitress Nova was exceptional and prompt in her service to us. Our party was pleased with the entire night!!! Vibe was very smooth and mellow. The food was fantastic ?. Every dish seemed to elevate and get better.
Enjoyed the food, enjoyed the atmosphere. Was very displeased with having to use a credit card because we were told by the hostess that she had no change when we attempted to pay with cash.

From the moment you walk in, it was pleasurable. The staff greeted you with a smile at every turn even when just walking by. The Black-eyed pea hummus was EVERYTHING! Our food and drinks were great. Our waitress was knowledgeable and pleasant. The music had me dancing in my seat. My experience was nothing short of great. I would go to Prime 39 again and again.
When you come in the live DJ is playing music instantly creating a nice vibe. Appetizers are pretty good and there's a good variety. But very pricey. Proportions were decent. Same with the entrees. Now the drinks are another story. Very good and a nice buzz. They are worth the price. One thing I didn't know is that they include a 20% gratuity in your bill even for just 2 ppl. Their site says they add gratuity for parties or 4 or more so that was misleading. I also think the server was not the best. Very forgetful and seemed kinda new. Maybe because she just ew she was getting a gratuity anyway I don't know. Overall I would recommend this place.
This is my second time to Prime 39. We had lamb chops, crab cakes, calamari, prime 39 salad, cajan shrimp pasta (which we took to go because we were so full from the appetizers) lemon drop martini and a watermelon martini (we loved the lemon drop). Our server was Thea and she was the essence to our dining experience. She was cheerful and attentive just what a server should be and more. She definitely gets 5 stars with our experience. We will do it again in a month or too.
First time at Prime 39, really did not know what to expect. My husband and I were craving a good steak and it did not disappoint. A very welcoming hostess sat us at our table, ambiance is very nice. Our server Kalisha was very attentive and accommodating recommending some good cocktails to start. All of the staff were very attentive, filling our water glasses constantly and were very polite. The salt and pepper shrimp was cooked perfectly, oysters were delicious. We splurged and had the 35 oz tomahawk ordered medium rare and that's exactly how it came out, cooked with a nice crust on the outside. The garlic mashed and sautéed spinach were the perfect sides.I would go back again.
Dark and romantic setting. Our waitress was friendly and pleasant. The staff overall was attentive. The food was delicious. Great place for a romantic date night or celebratory dinner.
