The pitcher of water, the hot tea tasted like it was made from tap water. Had to eat my food with no beverage. My daughter ordered a Pina colada that was made from cheap quality liquor. Food was brought out cold. When sent back to reheat, it came back still cold. The food wasn't that good either. Very disappointing. Wouldn't go back. The only thing Ok was the service.

Classic Chinese sit down restaurant- really loved our dining experience here. Bottomless hot tea and delicious fried noodles. Friendly, accommodating staff. Excellent food. Prices were reasonable too. Only con is parking can be tough sometimes due to the large movie theater down the road. But we will be back soon!

A classic dine in Chinese restaurant. The atmosphere is clean and pleasant. A large dish of their fresh fried noodles with duck sauce and hot mustard is always a treat. The option to make an entree a whole meal is nice including appetizer, soup, and dessert. Two of us had half Peking duck which is wrapped in a flour pancake with cucumber, green onion and hoisin sauce with extra crispy drumsticks. Another companion enjoyed boneless ribs and the fourth has shrimp with honey roasted walnuts. A thoroughly enjoyable meal with great service.

The food was good but the service was mediocre at best. When it was time to pay the waitress brought out our check. I paid the bill with my credit card but wanted to leave my tip in cash. I only had large bills so I packed up our left overs and was heading to the cashier to change a large bill to leave the tip. Well the waitress dash across the restaurant (as if I didn't pay my bill) picking up the paid receipt I signed and pointed out that I didn't leave a tip. I then showed her the large bill in my hand and stated I need to get change. She just smile and said OK. Needless say I was utterly embarrassed. The stare downs I got from the other pardons left me profoundly embarrassed as I was probably 1 of 3 African American in the well packed restaurant. It was such a disgrace the way thiswaitress behaved. Disturbingly unprofessional manner. I cannot support such business with such tackless mannerisms.

Years ago I would've given 5 stars but it seems, like so many other places, SFSG has gone downhill. Tonight I ordered the big bowl wonton soup (which used to be my favorite), pork egg roll, general tso's chicken, pork fried rice, mushroom chow fun, and roast pork egg foo young. It was all extremely underwhelming with the exception of the soup broth. That's pretty disappointing. The wontons were really tough and rubbery and the quality of the meat was not good. The rice was underdone, the mushrooms in the noodles tasted like they were canned, and everything else was just very average and really not worth the high prices.

Authentic chinese restaurant experience. The charming decor sets the tone, which is further solidified with the food. Best sesame chicken I've had in years!
