We catered from Trini Bites for a brunch with friends to celebrate our recent wedding. Working with Renee was an absolute pleasure. From start to finish, she was attentive and responsive. We knew we wanted to cater Trini food as my husband is Trini and I felt the stakes were high to make sure everything went well! And Renee delivered on every front.
The food was an absolute smash hit -- no tray was left untouched or unpolished, and we even sent folks home with to-go containers as they loved the food so much. Particular favorites were the stew chicken, the buss up shot, the mini doubles, and the curry chana and potatoes. Renee made sure that our dietary preferences were met, which was no small feat as we had vegetarians, vegans, kosher-observant (no shellfish), and halal-observant (no pork or pork byproducts) in attendance!
If you've ever been curious Trini food or simply want to serve something different for your party or gathering, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend working with Renee and Trini Bites at all.

First tasted Trini Bites at a Pickleball luncheon. It was macaroni pie and stew chicken that really got my taste buds going as it tasted just like my grandmother and mother’s cooking. As we all know, anything like your mother and grandmother cooking is to die for. This past weekend I decided to utilize Trini Bites catering services for a potluck event and as usual everyone loves the macaroni pie and stew chicken. I must emphasize stew chicken bc people from different cultures were savoring the flavor. Kudos to Renee and her team - food was prepped on time, hot/ready to be devoured…..and delicious!!!!!

Went to the popup location at prospect park. I had the chicken double and it was pretty good. A little small and more expensive than other places but still tasty. Would give them a try if in the area.

We are so happy to have discovered Trini Bites on Long Island. It was a pleasure from the moment I spoke to Renee ( the owner ) to the time I went to pick up our Christmas dinner she cooked for us ! The food was off the charts good !! . We ordered beef / shrimp wontons , chicken roti and chicken Pelau . It reminded us of the way my mother in law and Granny would cook when they were still with us. I can’t wait to order again and try more of the menu ! Do yourself a favor, if you’re on Long Island (but don’t wanna drive to Queens ) and feel for authentic Trini cuisine order from Trini Bites!!
