We were the only people there for lunch. They had hired a new waitress but she was not trained. The first thing we ordered was not available. The second thing we ordered was not available. We ended up with a salad and a side of sweet potato fries that they forgot to give us.

The food was good. Service was friendly and helpful. Only one person for the bar and service so wait time was long. If you have time to sit back and enjoy conversation with your family, it's hardly noticeable. Will go again.

Amanda is amazing and very friendly. She had to work the bar and the restaurant all by herself.....she never got frustrated!! She stayed positive the few hours we were there!

Good customer service, nice atmosphere, lacking a drink menu for alcohol, interesting choice of food selections. Kid friendly (daytime) have high chairs and colorable kids menus. Updated their menus. Food was terrible and way too expensive for the trouble. Didn’t have most of what we wanted so we had to settle for other stuff and none of it was good.

Ok, well it was my first experience, a friend told me EB Gators was the place to eat. We went and it's was 90 outside and felt warmer in the restaurant. There was only 1 waitress and 1 cook, the waitress looked stressed and very hot. We placed our order and the cook only got 2 of our orders right. I ordered a taco salad without onions and it came with onion, I told the waitress and she said she told the cook make sure there wasn't onion. Well they replaced the taco salad, it came without nacho chips and way to much meat. I couldn't eat it because of the heat inside the restaurant. I feel it would have been a better experience if they had more help and air conditioning

Lyons doesn’t have much to choose from so we were excited when Eb gators opened at the old Studebakers spot. The food is terrible and takes years to get mediocre bar food. The bartenders are highly inattentive, slow, and not to mention rude. 4 bartenders and it still takes close to 30 mins to get a BEER. Don’t bother asking for any kind of mixed drink outside of you typical jack and coke. A patron next to me asked for a lime for her drink the bartender said yes and immediately walked away and served another customer after another after another before completing her task at hand. She NEVER got the lime. Simple task. Not to mention the bartenders rolling eyes or completely ignoring you. Ive been in bars with 75% or more capacity with staff with are 160% more efficient. Terrible staff. Not to mention my Husband and I opened a tab and when we received our bill there were several disputes, not to mention if you pay cash the bartenders change the pricing when they see “fit”. Stealing from patrons. Seems everyone I speak to has had similar issues. To top it all off this place has exhibited racial discrimination NUMEROUS times. This place has gone down hill fast, revamp, get new management and staff save the restaurant while you can. Otherwise, EB gators will be another failed attempt at a restaurant/bar at the hands of poor management.

Very unhappy with this place. Gators used to be the place to go on the weekends. Always had great food and beer. Tonight they had 4 bartenders and still Took 20 mins to get a drink and Was told by a bartender “To go to the other bar to get a drink we don’t have any glasses or cold beer” in a very nasty way like it was my fault. The other bar only excepted cash which I didn’t have. I had a open tab with my cc at the main bar. The food made my girlfriend very sick to the point we had to leave. Very said to see this bar go downhill. Definitely won’t be in business very long.
Do not recommend! A child seated us and ask what we wanted to drink ? A adult was near by...waited 15 minutes and still no drinks ! Yell over twice she would be right there ?? Only 4 other Patrons were at the bar..we got up and left...

On 6 25 2021. First ones in the Restaurant seated and it took a few minutes to get greeted with menus. We placed our order other people started coming in after us. It took one hour to receive our food, I was told I would receive a good portion of the Mac and cheese it was only a bowl. It was not even home made. It was horrible like the Kraft macaroni and cheese everybody knows so well. Very expensive $10 Also my friend that I was with got served his soup I believe 45 minutes after the initial order to an hour and it was after his main course. It doesnt take that much to open up a can of soup toss it in a Pan stirr up on the heat and bring it out to the table. When I brought this to the attention of the server which is also the bartender she said she would remove the price of it and I continue to speak she put her hand up to me and said she would remove it with an attitude and had an attitude the rest of our visit which made for a very unpleasant experience. Its To badd that I was visiting from out of state and it was a horrible experience certainly not a pleasant welcome to New York State. She still received her 18% gratuity and then I heard her as I was leaving make a comment To someone else and she said, "Thank you for understanding at least someone understands" That was meant for myself and my friend as we were exiting. I should have gone back and taken the gratuity off the table, she's lucky didnt. Howver, my recommendation is to stay clear of this restaurant do not go if you wanna have poor service attitude and lousy food be my guest. Last but not least it was a mid afternoon on a Friday can we say staffing problems with attitudes. Oh, and if i could give a 0, I would! Thank you for reading my post Trip Advisor post reviewer.

Never took our food order but the table behind us who ordered before we got there left saying it had been over 45 minutes since they ordered their food and were still waiting so we took the hint and didn't waste anymore time waiting for service. Bar tender didn't know how to make a martini so pawned it off on a girl who had no idea what she was doing behind the bar and didn't look old enough to drink, let alone serve. Just want to share a warning for others, until staffed the service is horrible!

Disgusted with how the manager Amanda treats people! Major attitude! After coming from calling hours extra people decided to come which made it 6 people over the 12 that was reserved! She had an attitude with that!! Then this poor girl that has only been there three weeks was running non stop while Amanda barely helped her! After two hours of one drink and no food out yet I said something about not helping the girl. Well needless to say she decided to talk junk about me right in front of people that was with my party! So unprofessional and inappropriate! So after three hours one drink messed up food it was a horrible experience! The owners just don’t know what they lost when they let the McKinney sisters leave because those girls made that bar and did amazing with customers!! The best part was when I had went in for lunch one day the server was straightening her hair right out in the opening! Left there quick! It is so sad that this business is falling apart because of bad management! Oh and in another review the bathrooms were mentioned and yes I agree they are disgusting! They need to get it together and fast!
