⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review: Bokie’s Drive Thru — Malone, NY
We’re locals in Malone and regulars at Bokie’s Drive Thru — it’s one of our family’s favorite spots, especially with the kids. The food is always delicious and freshly made, the ice cream servings are generous, and the whole place has that classic small-town drive-in charm you can’t find anywhere else.
The staff is friendly and fast, even when the line stretches around the lot on summer evenings. There’s just something about Bokie’s — the great food, the community feel, the sound of kids laughing at the picnic tables — that makes it a true Malone tradition.
Our only wish? That it stayed open all year long! We miss it every winter and count down the days until it opens again in the spring.
If you’re ever in Malone, do yourself a favor and stop at Bokie’s — it’s a North Country staple.

Great place, excellent food and atmosphere. I would recommend this place to anyone in it passing through Malone. This was my first time there but won't be my last. The folks were very friendly and attentive. The place was very clean.

For a family of 7 we always walk out of there for well under $100 . Free popcorn to keep the littles calm while food is delivered to the table. Always a good time!

This place was an unexpected gem! Traveling for business through the area and decided to stop here for a quick bite. It was SO good we came back the second night.

Honestly can't find a better a burger at this price point and much better than any above thr price point. Desserts never disappoint, perfect for the family.
I get it's the season of flies but oh man!Find something to do about that nonsense. Also, why is the food very inconsistent? Check this out! So we got two burgers one being a 57 Chevy and one burger being loaded with gravy and cheese curds ordered the same day. Why was the 57 Chevy meat freezer burnt? Perhaps it sat with the roll already assembled in 1957 and sat until 2025 in the freezer just to be microwaved? Also why was there zero flavor from the burger??? Why was the other burger way more full of flavor and juicy? Why did my grape milkshake lack flavor? It tasted just like a plain vanilla milkshake nothing to write home about. Come one this is one sad state of affairs I tell you what. Your building is in need of repainting. It looks like nothing that online shows. Now, check this out because there is more. I ordered mozzarella sticks they weren't bad. What concerned me was the fact that they pour piping hot marinara sauce into a small plastic cup. It was so hot it melted the lid from the plastic cup and started to melt the plastic cup as well. Use glass use something else. COMMON SENSE would tell you plastic melts in hot heat. They don't care they get paid right? Here for the money not the customer. My goodness gracious. Check this out. The 60's style was the best darn hot dog I've ever had in my entire life. Although it's hard to screw up a hot dog it was actually pretty darn good. The other stuff I mentioned that needs work. The building looks like that gray zero flavor 57 Chevy Burger i ordered. I can't believe I'm still alive. Yep it's definitely a 57. It was made in 1957 only to be microwaved in 2025. My guess is they don't even date their meat when they go to freeze it. The hot dogs are local dogs so they sell quick. Hopefully you read this and not drive four hours like I did only to be very disappointed. I took one look at the place and I said this is it? Oh man! WHAT A LET DOWN! You can't believe everything you read online but you can definitely believe this review.

Just want to say how pleased we are with the service here! We brought 7 Littles in for dinner last night, all separate orders, separate receipts, and ended the night doing it all over again for ice cream orders. It was confusing and chaotic, but each and every associate was patient, pleasant and did not make us feel like a nuisance at all. We thank you for your awesome service!!!

Sooooo many different flavors, combinations and varieties to choose from! I had my heart set on one, then as I stepped closer, I changed my mind, then changed my mind again. When I got to the front, I ended up finally deciding on Black cherry Oreo! It was divine! We also ordered the fish sandwich and chicken fingers with french fries. The food was good. It was nice to finally sit outside and take in the sun! This is a cool place to stop located right on route 11 in Malone! It has that old school, Laverne and Shirley, happy days diner vibe.
