I’ve been here so many times between this year and last year is insane. I love the baked treats here and the very delicious coffee.

Ordered a strawberry shortcake for a wedding that turned out incredibly beautiful and delicious. They Had some trouble finding the cake because they sent me the wrong order number by email but they were able to find it and everything worked out great.

The service is fast and efficient, and the drinks are delicious. I only had to wait a minute for a drink, and the food was served in 5 minutes. Everyone is very friendly.

I went to this location with my family in hopes of getting the pumpkin draft latte with the apple cider donut after seeing it on posted online, but was told they were out of the coffee and donuts. We were bummed, but understood and ordered a few desserts and iced coffees with oat milk. To my surprise the customers right behind us were given the drink with the donuts. Then after receiving our order, our coffees were made with regular milk which caused me to have an allergic reaction. We had to wait another 10 minutes for a different employee to help us because the original employee who took our order and made our drinks looked at us and walked to the back. It wasn't until we informed them of the mistake and our drinks were remade that he returned to help another customer and again offered the item he told us was unavailable. All in all, it was a very disappointing experience with rude customer service from one employee.

my friend & I stopped by here to get the popular apple cider donut drink. when we got our drink it looked nothing like the pictures or videos we saw online?they jus gave us a regular iced coffee with a straw don’t waste your time & money here it wasn’t worth it.

We spent $35+ on a simple chocolate cake that was supposed to be super ‘moist’. Cake was disgustingly hard so was obviously very old. Went back to speak to the manager, who after 10 minutes came back and said that all three chefs tried the cake and it was “perfect”
Terrible bakery! Would not visit again

This bakery has it all, if they don’t have it you don’t need it. It’s Manhasset so don’t expect bargain prices. The bright and spacious interior has plenty of space for enjoying their surgery treats. There are also tables outside if weather cooperates.
I only had coffee, croissant and a baguette which were fine.

Coffee (black coffee) was full body thick and quite good and price wasn’t bad.

But pastries and bread…not the best because they all tasted the same. We had apple crumble something and that still had the taste of flour. Can’t really describe the tastes of all, but I would try different places from now on, except coffee which was MUCH better than the next cafe five coffee down the street. That place is seriously is miserable…

Anything made with whipped cream exceptional (eg: Lobster Tail). Buttercream used for cakes tastes more like vegetable oil, emulsifiers and stabilizers. Pretty awful. Chocolate Ganache that drips down from top of cakes is bland. Also, the texture balls up in the mouth as rubbery. Likely due to addition of fruit pulp to save on cost of heavy cream. However, the yellow sponge part of the cake is classic perfection. But who wants to pay $32 for half a cake. I once asked a retired baker of 50 years why it's rare to find a bakery that knows how to make a great sponge. He replied, "Most bakers are lazy. They don't want to beat the batter 100 times." Variety of Danishes and Breads all great. Mouses use gelatin as base giving a heavy texture as opposed to mouses that are made lighter without. A subjective preference. Go to Martha's Country Bakery in Bayside for the best light versions.

I’ve been coming to Buttercooky at least 20 times. I’ve tried most of their pastries, cookies and cakes/fruit tarts over the years.

Their lobster tail is to die for when it’s freshly made. Apple crumb turnover is pretty good.

They did a beautiful renovation and atmosphere is very nice.
Some staff are nice but some staff are rude.

Usually everything I’ve ever ordered from there was delicious. Any of their cakes are amazing. However I recently ordered chocolate chip muffins from this location on Uber eats and was sent 2 burnt brown muffins. My girlfriend and I were really disappointed as we were looking forward to a delicious tasty treat and we’re given that. I contacted them by email but never heard back. I guess they don’t appreciate their customers..
