I went to carval ice cream store with my two grand children, they had just returned from kindergarten and primary school, I wanted them to wash their hands before they eat ice cream , there was only one person working , the bathroom was locked, I requested him to unlock , he refused and said this is not for customers, And his behavior was very unprofessional and rude ,he was not wearing any gloves

The store opens at 11am and at 11:45am the soft ice cream machine wasn’t ready to serve. Sorry worker for interrupting you on while you were on your cell phone. I can’t believe this person actually gets paid to be there.

I would leave a review of the food, but for the 2nd time in 2 weeks I've gone at 950pm & both times they were closed. The point of having hours posted on the website & the door is so people can go at those hours, not to leave early bc it's boring & u don't feel like working. Maybe it's time to get workers that actually work.

The worst Carvel soft serve I’ve ever had. Counter guy over charged me $7.29 for a small vanilla with sprinkles. I shouldn’t have accepted it because the ice cream was melting immediately instead of the nice firm swirls it usually has. I also thought vanilla was supposed to be white but this had a yellowish tint to it. Took two spoonfuls then threw it out. Will never come to this Carvel again.

I come here some Wednesdays for the BOGO soft serve. The same two guys are always here and they are always very polite and helpful. Some days there are crowds of kids or families waiting to be served and they still provide good service. I love Carvel in general and this is a good location, very reliable. Parking can be iffy if there isn't anything open on the street but you may just need to find something residential or a block or so away and walk.

The prices are outrageous. I was in there twice. The first time they charged me $9 dollars each for small sundaes, and the second time they charged me $7 for a small cone. The prices that were posted didn’t even agree to the prices charged. I know this is Manhasset but the owner should be charging franchise outlined prices and not his own. Also since the average family in Manhasset has three children, his prices should be more family friendly.
The ice cream is ok. Sometimes it is fizzy and tastes really bad. Staff can be very pushy and rude

So disappointed. I went there 2 weeks ago after a long drive home on a Sunday to get a shake they told me “we don’t have shakes today” I gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking it’s Sunday maybe they are out of milk. I go back 2 weeks later on a Friday and still “we don’t have shakes”. They told me they were out of milk. The two customers behind me wanted a shake and just walked out. How do you run an ice cream business with no shakes?! Carvel is not what it used to be…
