Premium quality sushi and service, comparable to the top places in the city, that is local

Delicious and interesting sushi plates and rolls. We had a very helpful and knowledgeable waitress who helped guide us order. Ambiance was in sexy side! I was very pleased!

Although the service and restaurant itself was very nice. For the price point, the food quality and size were disappointing. Small portions & tasted like takeout food. The dumplings tasted microwaved. Would go back but for just a drink.

Very unique place. Food was outstanding ! Our waitress was also on top of everything and very very good. The food runner kept bringing our food to the table next to us and placed some food down before the couple said it wasn't theirs and then it was brought to us. Thankfully nothing was touched and it all was quick to be resolved. Our dessert was either forgotten to be put in or it did take a really really long time to come out , we did get both desserts for free when the manager brought us our check to apologize for the wait. Very very good but it really is about all the little things am I right

Kissaki is truly one of the standout restaurants in Manhasset. The food is not only absolutely delicious, but the staff are genuinely wonderful people who go above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. Every visit to Kissaki has been exceptional, whether I'm savoring their incredible dishes, spending quality time with friends, or interacting with their friendly and attentive team. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to enjoy a meal and create lasting memories. I can't recommend this restaurant enough—it's a must-visit!

My friend and I went on NYE and we had the most amazing experience! The food was fantastic, service was wonderful and the ambiance was comfortable but classy! We loved it and can't wait to go back!

Well, it's a sushi restaurant and they didn't have salmon.... Sooo... the other food was pretty tasteless. You pay for the expensive decor not the food.

The bar and drinks were amazing!! The restaurant was quiet. It was a Wednesday night. The food was very good. The miso cod dish could have been cooked a tiny bit longer. The fried rice with egg was exceptional. The price is towards nyc pricing and it may not sit that well in general with the people in the are locally. Again, the bar and atmosphere is so very nice and the faux fire is lovely. We liked it and would come back to sit at the bar for drinks and a few small plates.

Me and my dad went out here. The food was fabulous it was soo good that we got fat after! The dinner took 90 minutes long but it was still worth it! If you go get Miso soup 12 piece nigiri flight and wagyu fried rice! Delicious 😋

Ask anyone who truly knows and loves sushi what is most important and they will tell you it starts with the rice. From how it’s cooked to the rice vinegar seasoning and of course the temperature, it’s actually mostly about the rice. And does Kissaki not seem to know a thing about cooking rice. Overcooked, overly moist and hot rice — clearly whoever is making the sushi in the basement kitchen (which should be a warning sign when they don’t have a sushi bar) has no clue — means soggy seaweed and hard to chew rolls. Sorry to be harsh, but at this very high price point (we’re talking too NYC restaurant high) that is simply not acceptable. The quality of the fish was great, but that does not give this restaurant a pass. We are blessed on the north shore of Nassau County with a thriving Japanese community and a wide range of sushi restaurants to choose from at various price points. While this means the competition sets a high bar, it also means consumers have choices, and I choose never to come back here. Less than 10 mins drive north of Manhasset is Port Washington with no less than 3 far better (and actually slightly lower prices) restaurants including Yamaguchi, Tiga and Nikkei. The quality is incomparably better at any of those three places. Oh, and the slow pace of service and high noise level don’t help Kissaki either. Disappointed big time. I gave them a chance and they utterly failed.

Amazing food and wonderful atmosphere. Loved the vibe and the service was fantastic. This was my first of many times eating here. Loved the bar seats. Had a drink before siting for dinner.

Absolutely delicious restaurant with a wonderful ambiance. Perfect for a date night. It is moody and sumptuous but the tables are well lit. The food is excellent you really can't go wrong but I highly recommend the a5 wagyu appetizer. So flavorful and definitely the best bite of the evening.
