Love this place, I've been eating here for decades. However, seemed like an off night. The duck was a little overcooked, the medium rare steak that was ordered came out medium. Service was excellent as always but for the prices you pay everything should be perfect . We would still come back as it is a great restaurant.

My wife and I now rarely indulge in French cuisine, but last night will probably change our mind. It has been a while since we visited, but we wanted to impress our guests, and La Coquille was my wife's number one choice. From the Escargots to the Foie Gras to my Duck a' l'orange, everything was delicious and spot on. With a nice French wine, and equally delicious deserts , everyone had a wonderful time. Probably the best authentic French Restaurant on the north shore. Bon appetit !

Excellent everyday menu, but the specials keep us coming back. Half bottles of wine are fantastic; Sincere for her and a choice of four or five French reds for me or several selections of West Coast wines for our guests ( everyone's happy). Save room for the dessert cart.
