Love the vibe of the place. Felt like I was in a neighborhood bar but all class just different vibe I loved it. Sat at the bar Amanda was everywhere and always had our drinks refilled. Got a full cold bottle of water which I absolutely love that don’t have to ask every five minutes. Bottled beer was so cold loved them. Burgers were amazing we both loved the burger taste was great had a combination of things on it that just went perfect rolls were fresh and small enough this sounds crazy but the burger looked like it was a classy burger with a nice looking roll. Personally needed one more slice of bacon but loved that bacon was small pieces the meat is the star not bacon. With that being said the French fries served was like the ugliest thing as a wingman. Frozen fries which I got the end of the bag so they were all small pieces and just boring and not good. Burger which had meat bacon roll cheese sauce onion green tomato for 15 bucks. And a small basket of frozen French fries which cost me 11 dollars. WHY? Classy place gorgeous burger and then those fries at that price point not good at all. A place like that with a burger that looks and tastes like that deserve a different side of fries and charge 19 for the burger with some home made fries please. Would have been a no brainer 5 star.

Lively atmosphere, offering more than a just a pub to drink in. We enjoyed the burger and pork chop which had a delicious mustard glaze. My only complaint is that everything is “a la carte”. The price points are over $20 for these items, some fries or a vegetable on the side would be nice. Also could benefit from sound absorbing ceiling panels. We did experience great service. A nice place to have in the neighborhood.

It was an absolutely wonderful place to be. They were super accommodating of us especially since we wanted to sit in a particular area just so that we can watch a game.. the drinks are amazing and the food was delicious.. my only thing was that their flatbread was not really a flatbread. I feel like they can change that up just so everyone can actually enjoy their flatbread which was actually incredible. But it was vasiclaly toppings on something that looked like matza bread.

The schout bay tavern is fantastic. Even on the rainy day that I went it was packed. However despite how busy it was it only took about 10 minutes for them to find seats for myself and one other. Service was great with kind and speedy wait staff. The food itself was also extremely well prepared. I had gotten the salmon and brussel sprouts and my friend got the steak. Everything was very flavorful, well seasoned, and well cooked. Portion sizes were on the smaller side but not unreasonable. You can tell that the ingredients used were fresh and of high quality. We left feeling full but without an egregious hole in our wallets. I would definitely recommend for a date, or get together with family.

The food was average. Not enough seasoning on anything, including the flat bread, the burrata, etc. Everything was bland, boring. The fish (halibut) was cold, etc. The service was decent but no one checked on our table at any point of the dinner. It seemed like most of the workers were busy socializing with guests. We had to flag down the waiter numerous times. It’s akin to a dive bar imo with better food options. It was actually crowded to their credit but filled with football or lacrosse coaches who were loud. This certainly isn’t the place to bring a date and is somewhat misplaced being in Manhasset. Otherwise, it was just ok.
