I recently visited this place when my brother and I could not get in afew days before. It is a good place with a few options, even though the menu is slightly limited. However, this more of a place to drink than eat. Only problem with this place is that it is only open 5 hours (5pm to 10pm) everyday sonforget about getting brunch or lunch. As a result of that prices are up a little. Overall though, it is a good experience. It is worth the visit.
Tucked into a quintessentially classic French bistro combo at Schout Bay Tavern today: French Onion Soup and a glass of red wine. Hit the spot on a cold winter night! Brought me back to my student days in Paris…Delicious!
Pretty good menu and bar options. Sports on the TVs. Not boring. $16 flat bread was good and $25 Montauk fluke was like a home-cooked meal with extra seasonings. The steak was cooked well and tasty enough but the duck tacos were dry and the peppers and Brussels sprouts were good but I’m looking for excellent with such fare. Overall good not excellent.
