This place is amazing. They own a bigger restaurant in canastota ( La Bamba MTZ ). This is a smaller mostly to go restaurant but they have tables and you are welcome to stay and eat. The family that owns it is so friendly, although there aren’t many workers there it’s because it’s a small family business. The food is really really good and it’s definitely more authentic Mexican food. They are happy to substitute items within the menu whenever. One review stated the food is not made there and that is incorrect as I’ve seen them grill my steak when I went right after it opened. Highly reccomended this small gem in Manlius!!

The food here is awful. We got steak nachos and chicken tacos. The chips in the nachos were good but the steak ruined them. The steak was so fatty and gross. The chicken tacos….a monkey could make better. What we got were soft tacos with plain chicken. No tomato’s no cheese no sour cream. The price we paid was ridiculous for the quality. I could have paid less at Taco Bell and had better food. If you want real, GOOD Mexican drive 10 minutes down the road to chittenango.
The food was decent, however the amount you get for the price was not worth it at all. I also was quite disappointed in finding out that nothing is even made there. It seems as though it's all made elsewhere, and brought there in Crock pots. There are no stoves or anything in the actual establishment. Microwaved and crock-Potted food, for the price being charged I was not impressed. It's really sad, because I was extremely excited to have authentic Mexican food. The service, it seems like there's one person there maybe two at a time. We ordered ahead of time, They asked us what time we wanted to pick it up, We had one taco, birria, and tamales with street corn and we got there and still had to wait a half an hour for everything to be done... Another time I walked in, because I wanted street corn, And it took 10 minutes to make that, with canned corn... I think they definitely need a bigger establishment, where they are able to make the food right there on site...

My son and I went here for lunch and had a wonderful meal. We will definitely be going back for dessert. The staff was also very friendly.

When I first walked in to place an order, two people (I'm assuming the owners) were sitting at a table. The gentleman rolled his eyes when I said I would like to place an order. He was then polite when taking the order, but not a good first impression. If you don't want customers, you shouldn't be in business. I ordered birria and it was okay. As many others have said, the cost to quality and portion ratio is not acceptable. Many wealthy folks in our area will look past cost for a quality meal and good service. The owners should take these reviews seriously and make adjustments, otherwise they may have trouble turning profits.

To tell the truth, the prices correspond to the portions and the quality does not correspond. When we tried the esquite we realized that it was canned or at least that flavor it had, an 8 oz glass for 8 dls... and on the birria it tasted edible but somewhat dry, more than I would like
Great stuff!Tamales and Burrito were excellent.I will be

The menu is good but the prices are insane and not worth it, in my opinion. The food tastes good but the menu is a little confusing based on the pictures and I felt like I was irritating when asking questions.

Just ordered food from here. Not worth the price. Very small portions, no flavor. Not good! Bummer!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about the food and friendliness of the owners. I felt so welcome and the food was so very authentic. I got my favorite, tamales, and they were the best and BIGGEST I’d ever had. The Birria meat is so delicious. I got it on nachos and it was a great decision. As far as the atmosphere, it really wasn’t my thing. Its bright yellow inside, colorful, with only a few tables. Paper plates and plastic cutlery, which I hope is temporary. A Great place to take kids. To me, it seems like more of a carry out place, which is what I’ll probably do from now on. I just prefer a more sensory-friendly, intimate atmosphere with real plates and silverware. It was clean, and the music was great, though!Next time, I’m definitely ordering the street corn and birria again. To go. :)
Vegetarian options: A few: nachos and tamales, which are both great. Street corn, and other sides.
Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options, since much of the food uses corn. However, if you have an allergy, I’d definitely double-check with owners.

This place was excellent. Everything was fresh and homemade. We had four entrées and a soup. Everything was top-notch. Highly recommend for an authentic experience.

We ordered a birria quesadilla, elote and mangonadas. All delicious!! I really wanted horchata and something sweet with the tamarind sticks but they said they were all out. Huge bummer as we love both of those things. I hope business picks up well enough to be fully stocked in the future
Parking: In a plaza with other stores but there's room
Kid-friendliness: Seating inside, bright colors and the family that runs the place is friendly

Have been here twice since it opened and each time was great! Food is authentic and fresh! A great spot to dine independently or “grab n go” when looking to “treat yourself” to something good! I’ve dined in both times and found the service to be very friendly and quick! They also have a full hard ice cream selection.
Kid-friendliness: Very causal and kid friendly.
