I love eggs Benedict and when a place has it I get excited. Most of the time I get let down because they cheap out on the sauce or the sauce is just blah. Not here. The sauce is cream and smooth no lumps. You can also taste the hint of lemon that often gets forgotten. I asked for extra sauce and boy did they deliver. Eggs poached perfectly. Hats off to the chef Mike for doing it right. Now let me tell you about the pancakes that are the size of the plate and so delicious and fluffy. They make your food exactly how you requested. We will be back and making it a regular occurrence. Real hometown family vibe.

We had never been here, and will never go back!! When we walked in the server gave us a nasty look and never said hello, good morning, sit wherever you want….nothing!! Took our drink orders and never asked if we needed cream for coffee. Was not friendly at all, like we were intruding in her life. Food wasn’t impressive to say the least. When she came with the bill, she just grabbed for my card. I had to asked to see how much it was. She brought my receipt back and just dropped it and a pen on the table and walked away. Never once did she say thank you have a good day. Maybe if she hates her job that much she should quit. I managed a restaurant for 20 years, if one of my employees treated customers like that…..Out the door you go. Do better Riverside Diner!
