I was in midtown Manhattan to see a live TV show, Gutfeld. I had some time before lining up outside the TV channel's building, so I stopped in for a quick lunch at this place. It is, apparently, open 24 hours, which is interesting given it's location right smack in the middle of midtown. I ordered some hot items from the hot bar, which is extensive. I chose the eggplant parmesan with rice. The food was good. This restaurant does not look to be the most hygienically pleasing, but, on the other hand, it was not expensive and the offerings I chose were tasty. The service was OK. One other note is that when I asked for regular water, they handed me an empty cup which I had to fill from a tap, they did not have any of those water filtration systems you see at many other restaurants, kind of a cheap touch.

Umm..If you are in New York and don’t have corned beef or Pastrami on the menu, can you really call yourself a deli? Not in my book

Food was overpriced and just okay. Buffet section food was not warm. The steam table were not hot. Spoke with on duty staff. They said they weren’t ready for a crowd. This was 12:30 pm lunch crowd. Basically didn’t care about the customers. Pay by the pound? Overpriced $14 per pound for buffet style food. Should have went to a chain restaurant at least you know your going to get.

We visited this place on a number of occasions during our holiday. The pastrami sandwich was unbelievable. Great location right next to time square. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My wife had the chicken and rice from the buffet and absolutely loved it. The staff were also very appreciative of the tips we left unlike other places. Highly recommend.
Food is always good, place is crazy busy not the prettiest of places but it works , they are fast and the food is fresh what more do ya need ... as a matter of fact I'm gonna go get some coffee and breakfast there now
