I have been drinking quite regularly, in the Ceili House on Grand Ave, in Queens New York, back in the early nineties, 90’s I lived in and around this neighbourhood, for four years, I love/loved living here, this was called Sweeneys at the time, the bar across the street was called Burkes, I cleaned that bar in the mornings, knew the owner Richie, ( since passed and got on very well with one of the female staff, Violet, believe she is still around, but haven’t met her yet,...
Loved the drink I ordered and everything about the place felt welcoming.
Shoutout to Molly for her hospitality. What a graceful sweetheart.
I definitely reccomend it as a go-to if you enjoy a mesmerizing yet relaxed atmosphere, 5 star drinks and being greeted with warmth and a smile. ;)
